Anyone know if this phone is unlocked?

Anyone know if this phone is unlocked?

Don't know for definite.
Every other phone I've had from EE or resellers other than Carphone Warehouse that's stated as being on EE has been locked.
Generally, EE locked phones are not (comparatively) cheap to unlock either.
I understand why they do it but it's no good for consumers if they travel outside of Europe and it's put me off buying from EE totally.
I just called ee if you buy the phone they will unlock for free but can take up to 10 days

Thanks!
What if I don't want to top up after one month?

Is this PAYG sim or monthly? I'm looking for PAYG sim for an 11yr old, where I will top up once in a blue moon if needed. Only to use after school/weekend to call and text us. Or even miss call us.

Even as a spare phone to have from this brand
