This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

*edit 17/5, it now seems you can trade in a phone, plus get £50 Cashback for the A50 & £60 cashback for the A70, getting the two for potential £180.50 & £229.50 by using the method in this op.

Even better if you have a working android in a drawer somewhere.
samsungcashback.com/gb/…rks

Thanks to @Alansmithee for making me look into this.

At Samsung if you buy a Samsung Galaxy A50 or A70 and trade in any android phone, you get £100 off the cost of the phone.

Reading through the minimum requirements below, nothing to me says you can't hand in a recently purchased android, grade A from cex, which should meet the standards set below, and save at most £80.

So you will need to wait for the phone to acquire the IMEI number, then send the phone to Samsung who send you a jiffy bag in the post

Topcashback is available too.

Sadly the two strikes out below have sold out, but two more options you have if you have an active giffgaff sim, then £19 & £20 respectively below.

The A50/A70 is not an exceptional phone the prices not exceptional either.

What other UK warranty and spec phone with a 4500mah battery and similar snapdragon processor and 6gb of ram with an AMOLED screen can we buy for £269?

Just the top two or three options will be fine?

Guys you have problems. Few of you speak about the phone what is not …Guys you have problems. Few of you speak about the phone what is not topic. But I'm happy to expain you 3rd times. If I have few hours to make £80, I'm not playing st...id trade in games. I do few hours overtime. That's the topic. It is faster and less risky. After I buy the same phone with the same warranty from the same shop. I hope you all get it now. Playing with every single pound is so bullshit. I'm not rich, but the time is money. And several better way how to make £80 pound faster than the trade in. Wasting 2-3 hours to save £80 is not deal for everyone. That's it. Anyway thanks that you changed the title. It wasn't correct at all.

OK, have a good night now

They seem to take anything with a valid IMEI - I used a three year old cheap HTC that cost me a tenner in Tesco and it was fine.

That's good news, glad you commented, so people are aware they can get one of these direct from the manufacturer, with a good saving.

They probably wouldn't accept it, but you could trade your g6 in, then by a grade A cheap one from cex.

Again - quickest way to find out is to stick in your IMEI into the trade-in calculator - that is the only information they ask for (to check it's not black-listed).
Thanks for this great deal. Surely worth a risk so I have bought the two phones you recommended. I can always return if it doesn't work out. I feel the A50 is a great device for both my teenage boys. Ticks all the boxes. Now just how to wonder how they will fit in their blazer pockets!! I paid £40 for both phones from Cex so total cost for the A50 would be £250 each?

It's not too bad. The glass on front and back has no scratches or cracks. There's a few scuffs on the sides and a small crack on the plastic next to the sim tray. Personally I'd say it's pretty good especially given it's age, but the crack has me a little worried.

UK law is actually 28 days you have 14 days to *notify* them you plan to send something back and another 14 to do that - it changed a few years ago when the Consumer Regulations came in.
