It certainly does, I highly doubt if it comes to the UK it will be anywhere near this price though. Samsung love ripping off its UK customers like me

Well its £80 more at amazon Spain, so that tells you everything.
How does this phone compare to pocophone for similar price?

As do eglobal
Pocophone has the better processor. Though this 9610 is comparable to the sd660, so it's no slouch.
Don't see a finger print scanner on the phone or is it just me? Does it have insdisplay one?

Looks good. This or a pristine S8 for about the same money?
Nfc? Actually looks really good for the price for something not Chinese.

Hard choice Tbf. The s8 camera will be better, have no doubt about it.

I think so!

OR ELSE!
The chin is a bit big on this, still looks like a cracking phone for the price spec wise... Can't have it all I suppose. Heat.

S8 is the better phone all round and is a premium offering - it will be a top used purchase for a year or two I think, I would go so far to say the S8 will age well and still be considered good for a while. This A50 looks fantastic but as it’s unlikely to hit the UK natively so expect limited support from Samsung.

If it were me I’d buy the pristine S8 but the A50 would not be a bad purchase at all with that RAM, storage and battery. Spoilt for choice with phones these days.

I know your 'pain'...

I'm still rocking the Honor Play from one of Switchy's deals. I have used it daily since November last year and get a day out of the battery and no slowdown.

I almost bought one of those for no reason other than ‘it was a good price’ but I have heard great things about that handset so I am not surprised you’re still using it just fine.

To be honest the most problematic phone I’ve had in recent years has been the iPhone X, it has the best typing experience for me but man, it’s an annoying phone to use daily...

S8 will also be much smaller in terms of size. I think it would come to that more than anything you want a smaller phone or a larger one. This has some better features which maybe of interest a much larger battery too. The triple camera will also offer you more shooting options. The camera on the s8 will be better in terms of quality but if you using them to upload and social media that won't matter much. Also s8 is a 2 year old phone at this stage so I don't seeing having any more software support. This "may" get a update but I don't know if they will support this phone and for how long. All depends on your needs to be fair.

I went from the iPhone 5s to the Honor Play so it was a massive step up in terms of performance. Not to hate on Apple phones but I will never go back to iOS, it is so restricted compared to Android.

Looking to buy the for the Mrs, is it worth paying the extra £7.08 for insurance cover on the delivery? Never ordered from Eglobal before and have heard both good and bad stories.

Depends how you are paying, because PayPal would cover the lost in transit aspect.

Ok thanks.
This looks interesting for £230, but currently £370 on Amazon UK.

I've been waiting for the Mi 9 to be officially released in the UK, mainly to get a warranty.

But recently seen confirmed specs for the Black Shark 2, which should be around £400 for the 8GB/128GB. I like the idea of the 855 7nm with 4000mAh, so should offer even better battery life than the Mi 9 - which seems to be pretty good anyway.
6GB Ram, 128gb HDD, Amoled Screen, 4000 May battery, Micro SD and headphone jack for £230 = Fantastic pricing from Samsung and the best phone at this price IMO.

Only missing info is NFC.

It has nfc according to a few places online.
Still quite tempted by this, even the saving justifies not having a warranty, but I've been trying to convince myself to get Xiaomi instead of Samsung this time.
