I know provided you get the cash back I still think it is a solid offer. Fingers crossed people give it a fair chance.
You'd currently be paying just short of that for the Nintendo Switch alone Looks good to me
Switch is out of stock pretty much everywhere, so if you were to sell it you'd most likely get more than 300 quid for it!
nice pus I'd imagine you will get 6 months of free disney plus along with the option to pay £4 a month going forward. if only o2 were not the most useless network in my area

It's actually pretty damn great offer, if you sell both phone and switch then you get a free contract and some pocket money not in a market for a contract but that is actually tempting!

Very good point sir, the 6 months Disney+ would surely be included, not to mention the reduced monthly cost going forward (o2 offer £2 bill credit with ongoing Disney+ sub IIRC)

It's not bad is it . The cashback submission is a bit of a faff, but for £446 nothing a bit of organisation won't solve!

Would it be possible to sell both devices off and keep just the contract?

Yes, especially if cashback claim is similar to smartphonecompany which my OH has a deal with. Pull in pdf with the invoice from the voda app, fill in the basic details like name, order and phone number and upload the receipt. Takes few mins once every 3 months, most important to not actually forget to fill in the claim
Another question is if they will be able to provide the switch, as afaik supply is quite on the low side now

I'm trying to reach out and see what the situation is regarding Switch availability, if there's any clarification i'll update the thread
You can probably sell the A51 for 200 Quid, and the Switch for 200 GBP so say 400 GBP after costs and shipments.

That means a 24 month contract with high data for 186 quid or less...not bad. I would take but currently I am locked into a very competitive rate for my plan so I will pass.

Heat added!

Good luck getting a new switch for 200 during normal times and now that supply is short price is crazy, e.g. even Cex buys the used ones for 290.
Do you get the £50 cashback from Samsung on this aswell? Seems to suggest so on the website.

You do yes, I've factored that into the cashback amount quoted

Heated for a good (in my opinion) deal tho
Does the cashback reduce the monthly amount from the website?
Seems like the only way to get a Nintendo Switch at the moment... but will you actually receive it anytime soon? Appreciate what the terms say but the supplier may struggle...
Anyone ordered this do they have the switch?
With the current crisis, the likelihood of certain businesses going out the business is no longer negligible and cashback will not be honoured if they go out of business.
by its box... it seems the Switch's first version with less battery life, be aware

They are no longer produced
Top cash back £42.42 for new contracts.

Would it track?

Also, this is a 5g contract isn't it...?

Did you factor in topcashback too?
Shame the network is with o2. Appalling coverage.

Indeed this is a stonking deal, but I fear at least some buyers will be taking the deal to sell on eBay. On principle, I won't.

Heated.
Did you not want £42 tcb/Quidco?

I highly doubt o2, Samsung or Nintendo are at risk.

Cashback is paid by MPD and not those companies you listed. In fact, neither of them is aware of the promotion at mobile phone direct
Should have read through the cashback claim process and reviews before I bit. Don't fancy that at all.
Bought, great deal, went through TCB so hopefully another £44 too thanks
!
Anyone actually got the switch through with this? Want to go for it but just holding out to see if it comes through quick.
Also, not dealt with this company, anyone with any experience?
Can someone explain what the cashback is and how you sort it out? I'm not sure what I'm doing. Also how does this phone match up with the Galaxy S10e or S10+?

You upload to mobile phones direct a copy of your bill at certain times they specify (every few months). They then send a cheque in the post. You have a window (usually 30 days) to do this from the date of the bill. I've had many redemption deals and you need to write the dates on your calendar not to miss them.

If you are not particularly organised then I wouldn't.

O2 just bill you the full amount of £43 each month and know nothing of the cashback/redemption deal through the intermediary.
