sorted byI would never buy anything over £100 from anything that wasn't an established reputable seller. As said above, Touch Zone is the seller here. Input the company number and HMRC site reads some very worrying info:
Removing the director after 6 months of "trading" and trying to hide the postcode they operate from on 7th March.
In order to sell a phone like this for the current price you have to have some massive contract and established relationship with Samsung. I can tell you that a company established last year is not it. I remember trying to open a whoelsale account with a mid level DVD distributor and the minimum requirement was 5 retail shops and a £50,000 first order. I can't imagine what Samsung wants for mobile phones...
Ah not sure why its defaulting to Touch zone now as seller. Was showing seller as Only Branded when i posted it.
Looks like you can still select under "Other sellers" still and £1 cheaper (edited)
Why does it matter that much?
if it doesn't arrive or similar issue, Amazon will sort it.
Phone will have Samsung warranty regardless.
So what am I missing that you're thinking? (edited)
The warranty will depend on what market this phone was made for.
And Amazon aren't always as great with 3rd party sellers in my experience.
Does this come with dual sim?
Fulfilled by Amazon gives you peace of mind with hassle free returns and customer service should the need arise. Samsung warranty (if it's valid) could mean returning the phone for it to get fixed, which could mean a month or two without....... hence why FBA is important. I've bought items that weren't fulfilled by Amazon and returning them for a refund or even replacement if they develop a fault outside the 30 day return window was a pain in the arse and I wasn't getting anywhere so had to bin the items. Only ever buy FBA items now when spending over £30. (edited)
