The disadvantage is that you can only use them for books, and sometimes audiobooks, whereas a tablet could browse the web, social media, stream movies and TV shows, and play games etc etc
That being said, I'd get the 10HD when it's on sale over this. It's quite a bit more powerful. The A7 Lite is ok-ish at this price, but really poor value vs. the 10HD at the regular price.
