Been this price for weeks. With 256gb version at 759.
I bought the 256gb version after having currys price match it. The currys one also has 4g LTE whereas John Lewis one doesnt. They didnt pick up on any differences...

How much was the 256gb version? Can’t find it on the JL website.

It was £759 on John Lewis
You would be bonkers to get double the ram and storage for double the price, wonder if you put that £759 deal on seems better than this even.
And it was... hotukdeals.com/dea…736

Exactly. Double the ram and memory for £120 more was a no brainer. I used currys because I also had a gift voucher so worked out less than £500.
I had this one, returned it. I wanted a laptop replacement. The keyboard flexes so you can’t really keep it on your lap. Similar issue with the surface tablets too.

Battery life isn’t that great, depends on what you do I guess.
also using YouTube and doing some work on word will switch on the fans, which can produce a bit of noise.

otherwise it’s veey nice, very well made apart from the keyboard.

Not that we have a time machine but pretty sure the i5, 256GB, 8GB model was £699 at xmas time direct with samsung. Trying to find the deal on here but can't find it. I'd keep an eye out in the hope it gets reduced again:

price is now £1,099.00 on john lewis
