Some people would buy another set from say Argos or another UK retailer and may possibly get the UK set and HK set mixed up and return them to the store if faulty.. Not me.. but some people

I can live with that for the saving, thanks for pointing this out tho

Lol... Saving £50 off new for something like this is a no brainer, if it were £50 less for a Samsung galaxy note 9 than the UK I'd rather get it from the UK for the extra peace of mind.

Good to know, Thanks!

Good luck with that, trust me, been in that situation before trying to return something.. Had to return to HK in the end through a dispute which involved PayPal and my bank account.
I bought a pair of UE Megabooms about 4 years ago off eglobal uk using PayPal. Despite being 4 years old they’re still going strong. On the other hand, my JBL Xtreme, that I got direct from Amazon, failed just after a year of use.

I know some people are saying they’re grey imports - I’m not sure what a grey import is to be honest - but these 2 “grey imports” have been working a good deal longer than the JBL that was from U.K. stock

How good are the Samsung’s compared to Anker’s Liberty Air? Does anyone know

They advertise on their EU site that option of returning to the UK and them dealing with rest, but as with everything regarding Eglobal, it has to be taken with pinch of salt

Not even been released yet (8th March US/UK, Rest of Europe 29th March). Eglobal say they have the new buds in stock...(??) Lots of positive early reviews on youtube but these days it's wise to take some reviews (particularly those with 'exclusive early access') with a pinch of salt. Mate bought a pair of Samsung IconX's 2018 from eglobal. Delivered reasonably quick and work fine - the packaging indicated they were originally intended for the United Arab Emirates market but instructions were in English and arabic.

The new Samsung buds are significantly smaller, now have BT 5.0 and the case can do wireless charging as well as wired No surprise that to get the best out of its multiple features ideally you need a Samsung Galaxy phone etc. Feature wise these buds offer more than the Jabra Elite's but as for sound quality there is a comparison here (skip to the 10.0 min mark) CLICK HERE .

Plenty of competition for true wireless earbuds but the Samsung buds are looking good. In this instance i'd say the big saving from eglobal versus a potential lack of warranty is a risk worth taking.
Heat added great price

Is that the QS1's, I got those from Aliexpress (£12.38). They are fine for what I want them for but the sound I find is average at best. I would expect the buds to sound much better.

Exactly the same as their website ends in .co.uk to make people think it's a British website. White lies, I'd rather pay the price in full next time than deal with them again and going through the same hassle that lasted almost 6 months to sort out...

I guess everyone knows, at least on this forum, that it's HK-based.

However, many people here have used it happily, usual problem is only the disgruntled leave feedback.

It was great idea to have UK warehouse for processing returns, if they were really serious about improving after-sales service.
Be warned, their customer service is extremely poor, the only contact is by email and have to wait a long time for a reply and when they do, it's not helpful and are loathed to give a refund if something doesn't work.

I certainly hope people aren't that dishonest it wouldn't have even occurred to me to do such a thing.
Damn. There goes my margin selling my free buds on eBay
Heat added but I'm waiting for the eBayers to sell theirs first. I really want these with my Mate 20 Pro! @jonnymcdeal still going to sell them? How much for?
tempted, but after all the issues with the predecessor (IconX) I read about I don't think it's worth the risk buying essentially without warranty. Want to see some actual user reviews first
How are these going to compare to the Gear X's? They a cheaper version?
How would Samsung know whether or not these are imports? Of course for phone's there's the dual SIM, the software, the phone model number etc but is there such things for the earbuds? I doubt that. If they ask for the receipt just say you lost it and they'll go by the release date surely?

A couple of months ago I was buying something from Argos and somebody tried to return air pods and the cashier refused the return for hygiene reasons.
I know your joking but something to consider...

Series number start china123 or europre123. You get the ieda
When you go on their website, look for the Trust Pilot rating...click on that rating and you'll see the REAL rating.....HINT, it's 2 stars for completely untrustworthy. This 2 stars will also include tons of self reviewing, so I would think it 1 star in truth.

A simple man is a great man :). Keep it up!
I don't think that Samsung UK honour a warranty on a grey import. Samsung bud cases have unique serial numbers. If it's not on their UK/EU database they will not want to know. That is unless someone knows any different?

They won't honour the warranty for products made for outside the EU. After March 29th, even the warranty for stuff bought in the EU outside of the UK will probably be void.

I still have my Gear Icon x's and use them daily, haven't had an issue yet. Worth the deal in my opinion.
Great deal. The reviews are all great. But people are more likely to spend double this on inferior air pods...because image.

I watched this review. No direct comparison, but made me interest in upgrading from my Soundcores Liberty Lites
