I did for a change, day off today but still got a busy day ahead unfortunately.

The most expensive Earbuds I've ever bought were a pair of bose free soundsport that I posted a while back, they were a glitch on the bose website for 60 quid, they sounded absolutely amazing, but one of them ended up being faulty so I sent them back.

60 quid? Bargain ! They are amazing for music. Kinda look like a cyborg with them in but they sound good. I’m looking for some wireless buds but undecided. I’ll wait for a deal.

Cheers bud

No worries mate, have a good one.
I'm gonna hold off my normal Buds are still doing a fine job, I expect you'll be able to pick these up for about £90-£100 on eBay etc around Xmas

I'm testing them now. I've been using for over two years iconX 2018 and I can tell Samsung made a big job in improving these. A lot better sound, connection to device is a lot easier and faster, fit in ears much better and even after 4 hours of constant listening to the music ears are not sore.
I've got mine for £100 from fb marketplace and I can tell for sure they're worth every penny!
I have a set of these and they are really good, fits in the ears comfortably

I'm not really much of a headphone person but prefer these over the stokes sticking out
Did I read correct that Qualcomm has just produced a new ANC chip for earbuds that will bring ANC costs down considerably, hopefully to the cheap Chinese level. I may have got the wrong end of the stick on this but the next 12 months may see some very interesting products.

How is the fit? That’s my main concern with these. Also real use battery life with the case?
The sound quality is really good. I was worried they would lose a lot of quality not going in to your ear and just sitting on the outside but they are loud and have a good range (though not until you choose the balanced setup on the app, strangely).
Got mine free with the Note 20 and they arrived the other day. I've got quite a few in-ear earphones from the Jabra 75t to the new sennheiser CX400bt and Panasonic True Wireless and they can certainly hold their own.

The wireless QI charging is good, especially with a Samsung phone that supports charging of the case and they pair seamlessly using Samsung Wear which even tells you where you left them.

Going to trial them a bit more before I decide whether to move from the Sennheisers to these as those are one the best you can get for sound quality. but the Buds Live integrate so well.
Good find Switchy

I've had the buds plus since they came out. They're comfy and you get reasonable passive noise cancellation from a decent fit. My only disappointment is the sound quality.

I got the buds live and found them really uncomfortable. As in couldn't wear for more than an hour. They don't go into the ear canal and stay in place basically through tension in the outer ear. Not a fan.

Also, even with ANC on, the noise isolation was pretty poor. In quiet surroundings you could tell the sound quality was better than the plus, but in real world conditions it was irrelevant because you couldn't hear. Sent mine back

Thank you for this. Will look around for the buds plus then. Sound more comfortable as I use wireless earphones for a long period due to boring shift work (love a good podcast or audiobook).

The freebuds 3 I have are great but the battery for the case is abit wonky.

What are the Sennheiser CX400BT like? Are they any good? I'm on the hunt for some new earbuds and they caught my eye.

Fantastic. Really good mids, which is what most others lack. Only downside is the design, not a fan of the square ends on them that stick out your ears too much but at least it's a bigger area for the touch controls. Very good app, too, with an equaliser that actually seems to make a difference

I think it really depends on ear shape as I had no issue with noise cancelling on them. I've seen others say they were uncomfortable and other people say they could wear them all day. Samsung made them so they'd fit more people than the in-ear ones but doesn't look like that succeeded, sadly.

Hi. Pb.

What do you think is the best wireless (or other) option if money is not an issue (someone else is paying as a prize) going to be mainly used for running and possible some work calls. Are the beoplay e8 sport the gold standard or other options ?

If money is no object then I'd say Sony WF-1000XM3 if you favour noise cancelling and sound quality, otherwise either the B8s or the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 would be the top for sound quality. I've not tried either though so can't comment beyond reading. I'm not going to go above £170 on a set of earbuds
Thanks. I'll check them out. Anything that consistently stays in me ears will do so I'd hope at those price points they all would. Cheers again

I've had the Buds Live for about 10 days. About to return them due to a similar experience to you.

Was very surprised at the scale of the deficiencies after the glowing YouTube reviews prompted me to order.

Granted some of them like being so uncomfortable might be due to my weird ears

Not all reviews were glowing...

Heat added but I prefer Buds+ design. Would rather save money and get a better quality product.

Buds+ better than beans IMO. Depends on which fit you prefer.

Thanks. I'm thinking of buying beans from Selfridges for £133 after my amex discount and bit worried about their return policies if I don't like beans.
