Great deal.

Hmm good, or hmm bad?

Just hmmm Switchy, I leave it with you to decide...

Seriously, this is a hell of a discount, but do I want to pay that much for grade B of any phone? My mate 10 pro still going strong after 1 year paying £170 second hand

Probably not, if your phone is still good, no need to upgrade.
Not a good price.
B grade marks scratches,

Which phones you looking at?

One plus 7 pro
And p30 pro
Or note 10 bugd is around £400
Bought an S7 edge from CEX that came with screen burn. CEX swapped it over for another A grade no questions. The warranty is worth it for buying second hand I would say but if you're worried about condition and stock is local you can always pop in for a look.
AcHu_GaMes20/01/2020 20:28

One plus 7 proAnd p30 proOr note 10 bugd is around £400

You csn get the p30 pro from refurb-phone for £369.95 in very good condition, the oneplus 7 Pro from Limetropic on ebay for £409 in very good condition, and the note 10 from here for £440.

Out of the 3 I'd choose the p30 pro, simply for the camera and battery life, the note has to many compromises, and the 7 pro just doesn't have the camera to match the huawei

I don’t fully agree. MI is a pawn to Chinese govt and they have a direct data feed. I would only trust Samsung, Google Pixel and BB Key2 for androids. Also, I would trust one plus as they’ve UK version phones and they’re registered in the UK.

I ain’t against China but their policies towards mobile operators is pathetic !

Even so for a second hand phone not cheap?
@MrSwitch - any phones with these specs please -

6’ or less screen.
Good battery life with fast charging (3.0 two side).
Chipset - SnapDragon
Ram - 6gb or more
Premium version.
Around £500 price wise.
Brands - Samsung/One Plus/Pixel
MrSwitch20/01/2020 20:31

P30 Pro does have a great camera and zoom. However, the Note 10 has a flexible aperture (f/1.5-2.4) which it seems only Samsung are doing and Samsung have advanced auto HDR like the iPhone 11 series. The downside is Samsung insist on using Exynos and this has Exynos 9825 so there won't be a reliable gcam mod.

Also lastly and most importantly I haven't used the word squirrel today, so I feel that it's important to fill my quota.

Not a good price.B grade marks scratches,

Not all the time. With newer models phone CeX, Grade B can mean Pristine, just without box.

So don't let the Grade scare you if truly interested Can always return for full refund, including delivery cost
Samsung was offering note 10
With 120 off a working phone part ex.
I put imi number for £10 phone and was excepted.
So work out about £600 for the phone

CeX stuff sometimes smell of fags! Dont know why
This looks interesting.

Anyone know of better value options for a good screen with stylus as I would like it for notes and charting.

Many thanks. Currently on Huawei P20

At this price point they are acceptable, but the others me tioned are still cheaper and are better all rounders

No SD card slot, small battery, small screen (personal choice that one)

For a screen 6 inches or less, I think you'll struggle.

You’re awesome! I’ll keep looking samsung s10e was my original choice and meanwhile Samsung came up with brilliant note 105g plus offer and screwed my a55. Im in the process of returning my device and also the return of my trade-in mobile.

Nonetheless of all the above, I’m waiting for a secret and brilliant phone. It is Blackberry Key 3 but looks like there are no phones from BB this year.

@MrSwitch - btw, what is the difference with these Sony series L, XZ and Z?
pentaya21/01/2020 07:48

@MrSwitch - btw, what is the difference with these Sony series L, XZ and Z?

The L series are the budget sony models, the XZ were/are the flagship models, now superceded by the Sony xperia 1 and 5.

The Z series were the premium named smartphones from a few years ago, as with all Smartphone manufacturers, they like to confuse with their naming conventions.

I really like the look of L series over XZ. Looks like Sony Xperia 1 and 5 are in similar design and my gut feeling sony might stop xz series.

If you're after a smaller handset as well, the Xperia 5 is an excellent choice. Forgot about that one.

The XZ Series has been dropped, like I say the 1 has replaced the xz2 premium and xz3
