Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (Black) from Amazon Germany.
European model so warranty should be valid and Amazon will look after you. Don't know is this will come with an EU to UK plug adaptor.
Postage will take 2-3 working days.
This is how my basket shows (opt out of Amazon conversion):

When that deal was posted the link went the the white model and the black version was a higher price. Also the price was/is different for the pink and gold verions so I didnt see that deal as encompassing all colours.
But if a mod wishes it to be removed so be it.
Agreed. Does make me slightly worried about the resale value when I come to sell mine in September/October though for the Note 4, I was hoping to get at least £300 for mine haha.
Seriously ? You thought someone would give you £300 or more for a second hand phone with potentially dubious warranty ?
They would need their head examining.
Yes I was hoping so. I sold my Note 2 for £300, sold an iPhone for £300, sold a HTC one for £280. Have sold a phone for more than £300.
How much should people sell their phones for if say retail was £500?
kind regards
Alex
The person who took it replaced the bulk of the phone with boxes of scented candles (how thoughtful). The Amazon packaging's seal was not tampered with, though upon realising the phone was stolen, I noticed the packaging had sticky tape on both ends.
Amazon.de was helpful enough to issue a full refund when I reported it, so can't fault them. Do bear in mind if you order, that there's a huge sticker that says "Lithium Ion Battery Inside". Whatever rule and regulation that fulfils, they might as well made the packaging transparent! Pay a little extra, get amazon.de to package it as a gift. At least I hope they have some sense not to put that sticker on gift packaging!
They have to put the sticker on by law.
I have a Note 3 and my battery lasts a full day. Im not sure how you get 2 days out of a smartphone. I have a battery saving app which places phone on deep sleep when screen is switched off. But when I use it throughout the day for making roughly 15 calls lasting between 5-15 mins and browse social media and whatsapp. the battery lasts a day. No more. By evening its at 20% and always on power saving mode.
It also has German firmware on it but you can select English when you first switch it on
There are also a couple of German apps on it (some hotel booking app) but these can be uninstalled.
Otherwise no difference to the UK model and mines was delivered in 2 days
I'd be reluctant to give out more than about £150. However, I was surprised when some fool paid 80% of the new price of an improved model of the 3 year old sat nav I sold earlier this year.
Proof indeed that there are muppets abound on t'internet.
I believe it is legal requirement if going air freight, which it would.
436.00 EUR = 360.738 GBP
Did they ship it via Courier or normal post brobert?
use odin and change to uk firmware
sammobile.com/fir…BTU
I get 2 full days out of my Note 2 with data and wifi always on with plenty of screen time too
Yes.
100% my sentience also, great piece of kit, for a few quid more and more spec (with a little juggling) this is a great deal.
I will happily be paid £30 to change a language to UK upon first boot and uninstall anything I didn't like. There is no loss of functionality.
They used to block rooted phones, I assume they still do so make sure the ROM you loaded isn't rooted (or undo the root)
