How about in the phone itself (loading image, specific apps)?

how much will it cost to unlock it?

I did ask them just now and they said it is locked to EE.

Good grief.

I know it has the processing power to have sent 10 spaceships to the moon 40 years ago, but damn that's a lot of cash.

Around £20

I've got this phone - it's really good. Bought a spare battery ( genuine samsung ) for just under £20 delivered . Not that I need it cos the battery should last all day , plus the supercharged charging charges sooooo fast.

Getting there slowly hopefully will be £400 late Jan

good price

locked to EE and has "Computrace" software which cannot be removed.
Computrace can't be deleted as its built into the bios . They track everything on your device and EE use them to prevent fraud. The PC version has been exploited and hacked in addition to actively sending date unencrypted.
I wouldn't trade my privacy myself

Interesting product. I am interested in how they will design a protective cover for it as most bumper covers would actually cover that edge functionality bit.

I wouldn't buy this from EE simply because they have hard coded computrace to this phone which is a phone tracking application and can access all your data and is a backdoor for hackers to access all info on your phone. This cannot be removed its built into the firmware even if u root it it doesn't go!
The best option is to buy a note 4 on the 3 network on ebay ( I got mine brand new for £400) they are all unlocked (3 doesn't lock any of their phones) and then you simply debrand the device with the original samsung stock firmware and it gets rid of all the logos on startup without losing your warranty or tripping the knox counter. I followed these instructions and 3 doesn't hard code computrace on any of their phones. here is the link to de brand

Good luck!

Is there any good contract deals out for this phone?

£469 debranded on eBay.

Link?

Guys, spend £7 more and get a 910C for the Octa-core exynos variant - the octa-core has slightly better hardware - cpu, camera module and audio DAC. It's also sim free. This is a trusted site I got mine from: offerbank.com/uk/…tml

Note 4's are all going for around £475-520 on ebay, I sold my international version and upgraded to the Exynos Octa-core.

Development wise - yes there will be more roms for the snapdragon edition but the best stuff will make it over to the C variant too!

If it's the AT&T model from "universal" something or other then don't get it... that's the n910A - it's bootloader locked with very little hopes of it being cracked any day soon.

Found a forum where a guy from Manchester wanted to know how to remove it as he has 7 brand new Samsung s5 on EE and the are locked with a passcode.

Seems EE are fighting back against the mobile phone fraudsters. Fake contracts through dodgy shops, you know which ones.

they ship from UAE - Dubai , They offer their own 1 year warranty through them. Samsung doesnt offer warranty for devices purchased from outside the EU (non EU SKU's i guess)

good price though was tempted v much buy it especially as i travel to UAE once a year, performance wise i do not think it matters much between the devices (C , F) as the F is probably more stable for apps. however if in the future if the x64 gets released and supported for the C model then it would have been worth it
