logic being cheapest price for note 8 at mo =£650 ish. Divided by 36 = £18. plus contract at say 12-15 for 5gb. =£32 with no initial outlay.

Cold, as you can pick up the phone for less than 700 and get a considerably better sim only deal

Sooner do that than commit to 36 month contract for a phone

3 year contract!? No thanks...

This deal is colder than a penguin's balls!

then good for you. but not everyone has £700 burning a hole.

Most people who buy this kind of phone don't need this kind of phone.

In the 80s I didn't need a filofax, I definitely don't need one of these in 2017! Most mid range phones would suit most peoples needs, unfortunately ego takes over and people buy buy buy

How about unlimited minutes with 12gb data for £37 a month and £160 upfront. £1048 and works out hundred quid cheaper from mobiles.co.uk through uswitch

not really though, that's 2 years at £43.70. Only extra £104 for another year with virgin, but it is 3 years so not for everyone.

assuming that people don't need the phone, assuming that mid range phones would do, assuming that because you don't need one others wont either. And stating that egos take over (leaving people with phones they don't need and probably can't use). In there someone..;)

2 years is bad enough, now they're trying to up it again? No thanks. I must be getting old, I seem to remeber calling up O2 to haggle, getting the latest phone on a £30 a month, 1 year contratc and repeating it all a year later. Good times....

Agree with you. This is the first year I've given up on negotiations!
