Tobydeals? Based in Hong Kong? I think the OP has been drinking a bit too much of the various types of whiskey that he has been posting deals for lately!!

Why do we keep getting deals from Tobydeals on the website when other sellers from ebay Hongkong and China are not allowed?

Why would we encourage anyone to buy a £600 phone from a website that doesn't provide warranty in the UK? And who would buy a phone for this price without any warranty whatsoever. Better just donate the money instead of wasting it off:)

Again I say this, but I bought an LG V20 from them and it took 4 days to come, pretty impressive coming from HK. I know the warranty will be a problem, but then again I have insurance which covers me if anything goes wrong. I'll have no problems ordering from them again.

Snap. Got my LG V20 in about 4/5 days. No issues at all with order.

Thanks, great price. Will there be an import duty to pay does anyone know?

Great fone. Heat

Damn that's good price. Especially if you're Rooting it and don't care about warranty.

Surely there are Samsung partner stores that could fix it, if it went wrong and you'd still make a saving compared to the official price. Just guessing.

No, I have bought too off them.

thansk

Normally I'd err on the side of caution because of warranty as this is a grey import but at this price order with a credit card and include phone insurance on your home insurance policy or something!

Really like the Deep Sea Blue variant, its the 128gb variant for a £100 more. Worth getting?

Went for the 256gb for £725

where do you enter the discount code? can't see anywhere to enter it in "My Basket"....

how do they avoid import duty? Is the phone insured shipping wise? these prices are just normal price minus duty!

I understand there's no warranty however, will I have to pay import duties on this?

Deep Sea Blue is good. Worth paying the extra £100 for 128GB, especially if you are going to use extra SIM instead of memory card.

Would I still have the option to be able to use the 2nd sim card slot for the SD card

There is a warranty. Toby offer their own "manufacturer equivalent 12-month standard warranty".
Check section 4 of the T's & C's for more info.....

No import duties as such but you will have to pay the VAT of 20% plus a few pounds handling charge. The VAT is fixed at 20% but the handling charge varies according to which company delivers it.

Nope, I believe it's sent to a UK warehouse before being shipped to you. Through I'm not 100% certain

Has anyone who purchased this and received it ?

1.9. Import Tax
By purchasing a product through our site, customers outside Hong Kong authorise Toby Deals to make arrangements of clearance of customs on their behalf for the products they have ordered.
Our prices on our site are final and there won’t be any additional fees to pay when the product arrives.

Reassuring - but I wouldn't be prepared to take a chance on that. It rather depends on what's meant by "authorise Toby Deals to make arrangements of clearance of customs on their behalf for the products they have ordered."That's a very vague and ambiguous authorisation which could potentially lead to a lot of trouble and expense!

I'll let you guys know when I receive it and if any charges are due. However, I'm going by what the site says and @Newbold has quoted from the site

Yes, the 2nd SIM card slot can be used either for 2nd SIM card or memory card

Use PayPal and insure your shipping - you are then fully protected by PayPal and, in theory, by Toby as well. You can't go wrong. Only issue may be with the VAT(?).
note the VAT invoice would be sent to you by HM Customers some time after you have received your goods - there is no way of knowing for sure if you have to pay VAT at the point of receiving delivery (not to my knowledge) - so you may have to go through a few more weeks of sleepless nights after your phone arrives!!!
However, when I once had to pay import duties for a foreign import, I have a vague recollection there was a HM Customers sticker attached to the parcel - and it had the monetary value of the item written on it - that was the first indication that I will receive an invoice from HM Customs. So maybe if you don't see a HM sticker or letter attached to your parcel, then you're in the clear(?)
