I assume that the replacement model for this is going to cost like a zillion quid or something in a month or two when it comes out?

Bargain if you ask me.

Think about the cost of a 128gb iPhoneX + fast charger, (that should have been included in the box,) + airpods, (that should have also been included in the box,)

Voted hot but worth mentioning that this doesn't have EU warranty I suppose. But something not to worry if you have an insurance

I thought this was a U.K. company?
A separate thread mentioned that this site had terrible delays in delivery as in people were waiting over a month. Anyone experienced that?

No. They are based in HK and sell imports from the far East.

They're the same company. General impression is that they're fine if nothing goes wrong. If it does, then after sales service seems to be where the negative feedback comes from.

Doesn't mean it's a bargain at all, it means that there's a silly amount of people out there that have lost the plot and are buying phones at that price to prop it all up and keep prices going up!

Look I know that its not directly comparable because they are actually different products, but step back for a moment and compare the iPhone X with what a laptop could do for the same price...

(Queue all the people ready to say you can't put a laptop in your pocket and all that rubbish)

At the end of the day, mobile phone prices have gone absolutely stupid and they're only going to carry on that way...

I'm gonna carry on seeking the little gems in the Chinese market myself and stick with brands like Xiaomi for as long as their prices stay realistic.
Read the comments from the Trustpilot, and if don't change your mind go for it
Only real issue for me is it becomes faulty Samsung UK won't be interested

For me definitely worth the price saving. I bought an imported Samsung S8+ earlier in the year and it worked out to be some £200 cheaper than buying it sim-free Samsung (only Samsung sell the dual SIM variant). Although I lessened the risk by buying on eBay rather than egblobal etc.

Has someone bought from this website? Had it arrive on time, was the item new plus no damage, and has the Item lasted for 6 months without any troubles? I need proof and evidence if this site (toby deals) is worth buying from.

Don't bother, they have NO EARS!

Lost them along with the headphone jack?
Impending unveiling of the Note 9 on 9th of August.

Great deal though if you're not interested in the Note 9 or waiting.

True, just like Note 8 last year.
the Note 9 will also drop to half price after 7-8 months.
Ive always had a galaxy note from the note 3 onwards... Even with the little note 7 blip . The note 8 is my favorite by far though.

Dat a bigg fone
The Note 8 used to be a power users dream however it's now just a decent phone.
Guess they wanted to take the safe route because of the...hot nature of the previous Note, by putting in a smaller battery than the S8, which makes no sense considering it's bigger size/top specs and brighter screen. Guess it does have to fit in the stylus though, had this and you're looking at around 4 hours screen on time for how I used the phone.
Pros are that it's screen is amazing, build quality with Samsung is top notch, dual cameras and it still has a headphone jack.
Hot deal for the price but don't expect to get a full days use out of this which is just a massive shame for a otherwise impressive phone.

Screen is not set to max resolution out of box to preserve battery life, you can adjust this between HD-FHD-WQHD in settings

Yeah, it's only Apple that keep prices artificially (illegally) high... a la Cartel.
Samsung tend to reduce their prices as new models arrive constantly with evolutionary technologies.
Apple tend to increase prices, yet not innovate as frequently.

Yeah, I ordered a Samsung gearfit Pro 2from them and it never turned up. Got about 6 emails promising a refund, another 6 apologising for delayed refund (they had to wait until their next payment run), and eventually had to go through my credit card for a refund.
I know others here have had no issues at all, but that was my one and only dealing with them.

Well the way I see it,as someone who owned both Samsung Note series and flagship iPhones (various models of each),buying an iPhone is a better investment, when the new model arrives ,it holds much more value,so you can sell it for a good price and upgrade for example a £700 8 plus can be sold for £550 easily after about 1 year..with Samsung,if you are lucky you can sell a £700 Note for maybe £300 when the new model is due.
so you loose much more money.
I still like both and keep switching between them, last year I sold my 7 Plus and bought Note 8 and liked it but sold it after few months now I have iPhone X and love it.

Your comment was in response to the Note 9 following suit and dropping in price after 7-8 months like the Note 8 did. Which it didnt.
