Also, are these guys a trustworthy retailer? Not familiar with them. Will the warrant be honoured and does it cover all UK bands? Many thanks and sorry for all the questions!

Do you have a pet monkey, because his little hands will probably be too small to use it. So you're right when you say "seems like a huge amount of phone for the monkey"

Good, but likely the "wider European" model with a funny charger and unlikely to have UK English as the default language, ...which can lead to probs with NFC Payment etc.
Also, if you don't specifically want dual SIM capability, unnecessarily high battery usage.
That said, if it were the N950F I'd be up for one, ...especially if it were the blingy gold one!

Second thoughts, take a look at this before you leap into eternal darkness! Clicky here

Is it the European model etc? I need to do some research! I was set on the Huawei mate pro 10 but this is enticing me.

They seem trustworthy from the threads I've read about them, obviously some people have had different experiences, and mainly the only negative people, are the ones who wouldn't touch these sites with a barge pole.

The phone has every UK band yes.

TBH, I'm unsure on warranty, but at a guess, I would say that you won't have one, obviously eglobal have a warranty policy, but again I wouldn't rely on that.

You are best off taking out UK tech insurance to cover if it goes wrong, which is another expense, but if it gives you peace of mind, then maybe its worth it.

I will say though, if the insurance is too expensive, then you are probably just better off getting a UK note 8.
Thanks Op, but might wait on the newer model then this will drop in price, hopefully.

I want to get a better mobile, currently got the S7 Edge and the battery isn't that great.
Is this a better mobile? or is the battery in the Samsung's not that great.

Nothing funny about it.
That is what is expected, ...isn't it?
There are however many folks who don't seem to have experienced this "normality" though.
..just sayin'

They are not at all trustworthy if things go wrong but the odds are you will receive a new phone in maybe 7 days and have no problems.
But as they are not trustworthy any warranty via them cannot be relied upon so unless this comes with a warranty that Samsung will honour treat it as if it has no warranty.
Surely it must be Octacore?
Running a lg g6 that i got from them a year and a bit, no trouble at all. Sure they had a uk address for faulty / returns etc but i dont expect to get anything from lg
Very good price but I would not trust buying from this site.
I have used this site before and I will never buy anything from them again there customer service is virtually nonexistent. I think the site should be band from HotUKDeals in my opinion.

I ordered this phone from this company, came with British charger, English as default and no problems at all. Are you speaking from experience or from "a quick google"

Why? You have to provide details
I bought this phone from eGlobal back in February, so will answer the common queries.

- The phones default language is English.
- The charger is a UK standard charger.
- The box was sealed.
- There was no UK import tax, as they sent it via a business address in the UK and forwarded it on via DPD.
- It works on ALL UK networks.
- Samsung Pay is set to the UAE, but you can just flash the UK ROM and use Samsung Pay.

Well said!

Typed from my eglobal s9 plus.
ty, ordered with credit card. great price!
I'm currently using a s6 plus edge. Nothing wrong with it ,but I'm tempted by these offers thay keep coming up. I've had Samsung for years now , but never had a note . This or the s8plus or do I wait for the s9 release in hope of a better deal considering I don't really need one it's purely want ?

If you are waiting for note 9, don't think it's worth it to pay twice the money of note 8. S9 is already out fyi

I'd suggest playing with some in store. The note 8 didn't seem much bigger in specs but feels cumbersome to me in the hand
Went for it, paid with PayPal just in case.
Used similar cheap sites like ValueBasket (now closed) and GearBest - had a very good experience with every order (one was late a few weeks), all the phones arrived and were working fine although from different regions.
Hundreds of pounds saved.
Yes, the tradeoff is the warranty, but think if you've ever used it in the past and look again at the price you're paying. If you're really concerned just get some phone insurance from a third party or your bank.

You can find the same bad ratings and bad costumer service from companies you are most likely to use.. say Amazon. Also most of the time it's just people trying to be smart or somehow breaking their warranty and expecting miracles. Anyway, i used these guys a couple times, no problem whatsoever and their communication was excellent.

Ooo no I won't pay silly prices. I was meaning in the hope that the s8 plus and note 8 come down in price
Hot! Recently bought a note 8 from Eglobal. Arrived within a week, sealed, in a mint condition box.
How easy is it to update it so you can use Samsung Pay on it in the U.K.?

I didn't need to do anything like that. Samsung pay works perfectly as it comes. I've been using Samsung Pay daily since I got the phone.

Phone came yesterday, very quickly for a delivery of this type.
The phone is from the Gulf, is genuine and so far everything is fine.
It came with a UK charger.

Phone arrived in exactly one week, sealed and brand new.

Flashed UK EE firmware (easy and straight forward), got Volte and S Pay working..all good so far no complains! Good stuff
