Is this the latest model?
Latest in the Note series by Samsung. You can expect Note 10 around August. Till then it is the latest boy in the range.

OMG it only seems like yesterday this phone was out, seems like there’s always a new phone round the corner due to Xiaomi and Huawei.

Well, if the big boys at both Samsung, and Apple (and suchlike), to also favourably compete with the big boys at both Xiaomi and Huawei?, then ...

Them two Companies alone have raised the bar to a ridiculously high level like (and within an arguably relatively short space of time too, etc?).

Them two companies are blatantly not playing ball with anyone, lol.

(It's quite impressive basically, to say the very least).
This not the snapdragon processor ?

If it is a European model it will have Samsung's 'in-house' exynos chipset with is just as amazing! I have this phone and it's a beast! Super fast and great battery!

But nearly every Review or head to head shows the Snapdragon is a lot faster .
And better in battery life , is that correct or false ? As I am about to order this or the S10 plus .

Honestly not too sure. Before getting my note 9 1 month ago I ready many reviews and while the snapdragon my 'technically' be faster I think it is negligible. As for battery life some reviews I read said battery was better on the exynos version. Take into account that since most of the reviews came out, the phone has received software updates to the latest android version Pie which comes with it's own battery life management upgrades and the new 'One UI' so the software is pretty much identical to the s10 now. In fact, I had the s10 plus and returned it. It was an amazing phone but when you use the s10 in sunlight, you can see a box on the screen where the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is attached on the underside of the screen. I think its present on all of the phones but no one seems to highlight this, and I consider it a flaw too big to ignore.

Honestly so happy with my note 9. Battery is seriously impressive and seems to just get better as it learns my usage patterns, the screen is beautiful (same as s10 but with no punch hole...) and it's seriously fast enough to handle most things you throw at it daily. Also use the the S pen every day which I wasnt sure that I would.

The deals on the Note 9 are seriously good at the moment, which in my opinion, is more valuable than just having the top specs on paper and committing to an expensive 2 year contract with the s10.

The ONLY thing I miss from the s10+ is the ultra wide angle lens which was very very good. Apart from that the cameras are pretty much the same (still better than most phones out there)

Temped at this , works out about £200 overall more expensive than the £33 a month note 9 deal . Am tempted by the better camera , as I us it for holiday pics . Coming from iPhone 7 Plus , which I rate the camera being excellent.
Note 9 still in the running .

Looks like a good deal to be fair. So works out at £100 a year more to have the newer phone which is only a tenner or so more per month.

Honestly, the s10 plus was great and i was sad to see it go. I think anyone would enjoy the s10 no matter what phone you are coming from.

For me personally, the financial saving, the full screen with no punch hole (although the punch hole didnt really bother me too much), similar 'real world' specs and the S Pen are enough to make me happier with my purchase of the Note 9.

For reference I got my note 9 for £0 upfront cost, 30GB data on o2 (full roaming and o2 priority included) 24 months £37 per month

Have you used Vodafone before? My fiance has just switched to them and says they are good for phones reception and 4g speeds. (Not amazing but perfectly fine)
Dont know if its important to you but the Vodafone deals are normally the basic Vodafone connection so no free roaming costs. (Could be important to some people.

Dont know how much little things bother you, but once I saw the rectangle box on the screen of the s10+ in the sun , I couldn't unsee it and found myself constantly looking in that area of the screen to see if it was visible (which it was anytime I was outside even in moderate sunshine)
Samsung officially mention this 'feature' on their online help page saying it just the nature of having an under screen fingerprint sensor so it's not a fault and it wont go away.

Either way, both are great phones and have pros and cons to each. The s10+ has already come down in price so much since launch too which makes it an even harder decision for you...

Was with Vodafone for 3 years and speeds in Liverpool where really good . Went to 3 mobile and 4g speeds are a lot slower than Vodafone in my area . So Vodafone will be good .
That deal you got with the full worldwide roaming sounds good as all the deals them 3rd party sites have are all the basic plans with just the basic European roaming .
The monthly cost of that deal I posted was £38 but yes a bit about £43 a month when you add the £150 upfront.
Is that deal you got still available ?
Was looking at the iPhone XS Max and the deals start off about £75 a month for hardly no data !

Cant see my exact deal but can see this one on Affordable Mobiles

You have to log in the site every couple of months to claim the cashback which I think is a pain (and apparently not always straightforward) so I wouldn't recommend these types of deals.

If 15GB data is enough for you, then £34 a month with £0 upfront is a pretty good deal...
The upcoming release of the note 10 will see the market grow stronger for the note 9 imo. No cut out & headphone jack which is likely going to be made obsolete on the successor. My only criticism is the retailer. Eglobal seems to have mixed reviews. I'm so tempted but need somone to confirm they've received there's on this offer. Don't all shout at once!

There's s good deal on 3 network's site aprox £650 with pay as you go sim which needs a tenner upfront.

Agree the note 9 will be in big demand once the new note 10 is released because of the lack of headphone jack and normal finger print reader. Under screen ones are no way near as good in my experience. Looking for a note 9 myself having waited to see what the s10 range was like and not being overly impressed.
