Samsung Galaxy Note on O2 £21.50pm
Free Insurance for 24 months!
24 months
100 minutes
Unlimited texts
500MB data 'bolt on' although the data is 'unlimited' but throttled after the allowance but no extra charge for overage
Data can be removed saving £6, then it is £15.50 pm. It can be removed online and right away, just don't use any data before you have it removed.
Go through TCB or Quidco and maybe get £35.35 back, making it effectively £14.02pm without data or £20.02pm with the data.
So that's £480.65 total with data and insurance or £336.48 without the data.
Either way, the phone is protected, although you would have to pay up to a max of £75 for a new phone if you claimed.
White deal is here currently out of stock but here is the url phone-shop.tesco.com/mob…dc3
Tesco says:
You have 28 days from buying your phone to call 0845 604 8842 and register for free insurance. With Free insurance there’s no monthly premium to pay through your minimum contract term. You’ll have to pay a claim excess fee which varies by handset (and will never be more than £75). We’ll confirm the excess fee for your chosen phone when you register for free insurance.
The excess is £75 for this phone.

I'm very tempted by this as since I'm just after the phone. Does anyone know if Tesco supply them unlocked? If not, how easy is it to unlock them?

you want to buy a smartphone and turn it into a dumbphone with no internet access?

well the whole point of this deal is to get the phone the cheapest way possible. i would get this and use my own sim card.

People on here often seem very confused by a mobile contract deal where you should use a separate sim for day to day. It's a good price at £336 and insured for 2 years. Added heat.

wifi is there at home, mcdonalds, librabries, after few daysss underground stations etc. so i am not usiing too much of my network internet. but it is essential too.

You can pay 15.50 with data on the t-mobile deal though without having to remove and bolt ons, etc.

Yes, I saw that deal, asked my wife which one she preferred, she said the O2 deal for the extra minutes, texts and peace of mind was well worth £6 more to her.

Most phones are covered by household insurance anyway or the exclusions, etc make them almost worthless.

Personally I would rather have a contract that I could use rather than strip everything out then have to add on an extra £10 a month for giffgaff, etc.

how to remove the bold on. 500 mb to 0 so i could reduce the price.

Buy the phone, get the phone, get your number, call O2 or go to their online chat, ask to have it removed.

Curious what your deductible is on your household insurance, mine is £150, making it almost worthless for a claim like this. It will most likely also put your household premium up if you make a claim.
And not everyone has household insurance.
And no phone deal suits everyone, but here is a deal that's good value to some people.

This was posted last week, the offer is pretty good even with data. Which some people want.

You might have to chase Tesco for the credit check, they hadn't done mine after 3 days. O2 (and everyone else) bill for the following month, so I phoned and checked that it could be unbolted right away and they said no problem. I didn't unbolt as the wife will use the data.

Posted here before Insurance was available but people still received it:
