Looks good . Same price at Play.com

.. the specification quoted is not correct - the 4" WVGA screen version is to be announced at CES 2011, which will effectively be a Galaxy S without the phone.

Yeah the specs quoted are all wrong. Aside from the wrong display mentioned (this one is a much lower 400x240 @ 3.2") also: no front camera battery only 1000mah, rear camera only 2mpix, think it only comes with Android 2.1 too.
All in all pretty disappointing for a new player at this price point.

Looks nice, but in my opinion at that price you might as well get the 8GB Touch!

To expensive, as said previously may as well get an ipod. Worth looking at the archos 43 and archos 32 as alternatives to the ipod touch / samsung.

I'm no Apple fan but I think you'd be mental not to spend the few extra pounds on the equivalent IPOD Touch.....

This is not the new Galaxy player but a half arsed attempt they brought out a couple of months ago called the Galaxy Player YP-G50 and not worth buying.

The all new one is at CES'11 and looks to be a real Ipod killer - when both that and the Cowon D3 are out Apple are going to start losing sales. Avoid this and wait a couple of months for the release of the newer players.
