I know it's not a S2 or I Phone 4 but for a starter phone it's a great deal. The 18 month contract has 12 months free.
£25.54 x 6 = £153.24 - £60 (quidco) = £93.24 / 18months = £5.18

Good deal as a christmas pressie for kids or non IT trained parents

Thank you for taking the time to participate on the forums. The price has been amended as the listed deal price should be the price you have to actual pay the retailer to obtain the item before any retrospective discounts/cashbacks are applied, thanks again.
thanks for that, it's my first posting

Thanks for posting the deal OP - welcome to HUKD!

I thought that there was a 'gentlemen's agreement' on here that mobile deals should be posted with the full contract price - so in this case the 'deal' price would be £25.54 x 18 = £459.72.

Mobiles.co.uk are one of the better retailers to honour cashback claims - I've never had a problem with them.
How come this isn't very hot yet?

People don't like redemption deals?

I took out a similar deal 18 months ago from mobiles.co.uk - it's coming to an end in Jan 2012.

I might look at a similar deal or go for Giff Gaff
Sorry for not realising the 'Gentlemens Agrrement' MyBoozyHell, will hopefully remember to do it right next time ;-)

How was the service and did you get your redemption quick?
Good deal!
For those just interested in the phone on a cheaper deal you could go for the £20.42/month, with 12 months free by redemption, which works out to be £122.52 after the cash back for the 18 months.
if i port my current number to a new contract, is it making it more difficult to get the cashback as far as mobiles.co.uk's concerned? thanks
gp2, it shouldn't make any difference to mobiles. It hasn't affected my wifes or daughters claims
Obiwan, that deal with the fewer minutes and texts will be even better if you claim the £60 cashback from Quidco / TCB. The deal would work out at 122.52 - 60 = 62.52 / 18 months = £3.47 effective cost per month, not bad for a nice android phone
i just checked quidco/topcashback, the cashback's actually 30 pounds... 60 applies to FREE GIFT options, which seems the free line rental's not counted as FREE GIFT when you click it through
When you go to purchase, one of the free gifts is to have free line rental, so the £60 does apply or it did last month when we got one for my daughter
Hot! LCD version though but hot none-the less!
Also It seems to say 24 months?
I read the wrong bit...

I used to email the relevant pages (1 and 3 in my case) to them - via their website. Cheque arrived within 2-3 weeks if not sooner. Very impressed with the service.

This was my second cashback contract with them by the way.

Apologies gp2, you are quite correct in stating that the cashback is only £30, this makes the deal £6.84 / month for 18 months. Must do more homework on next posts - sorry everyone
quidco is £60 and not £30, although it has tracked at £30 for me an all

its £60 cashback on contracts 'with free gifts'

Please select your free gift:

12 Months FREE by redemption
£80 Automatic Cashback
Debenhams £50 Gift Card
Free Archos 7 Tablet
Free Refurb Xbox 360
Next £50 Gift Card
Toys R Us £50 Gift Card
Sainsburys £50 Gift Card

this means it is accepting the fact that a reduce line rental is a free gift hence a quidco of £60 - simples!

NO, it's not true... when you click it thru, you can see a free gift option highlighted, which free line rental's not one of them. So, i would assume for the purpose of quidco ONLY, the free gift's re-defined.

Plus, my tracking's actually 30, which further comfirmed it.

sorry i disagree - its ambiguous

but the fact that under select a free gift option it give the redemption as an option is therefore a free gift

anyway id like the rest of you folks to decide

they have two definition of FREE GIFT in different context, intentionally i assume..... of course they need it as ambiguous as possible.

wake up, mate... they want you to to pick up some rubbish sort of FREE GIFT by giving you 30 pounds incentives. Having said of that, I would certainly hope my 30 pounds tracking'd pay out as 60, but i would not hold my breathe for it.
They changed the amount of free months to like 7 or something, so this should be expired? (possibly)
Also it is the LCD version (i9003) which has a slower GPU and is thicker than the AMOLED galaxy s (as well as lcd screen rather than amoled, obviously)
