Just got this for my wife after getting the phone bug which I caught from that HTC deal ( I got a Desire S on £20 per month for myself after that and the missus got a tad jealous)
Cheapest deal I could find on a great phone and didn't want the high cost per month on a Galaxy S2
Sorry I havn't put a pic as I've forgotten how to do it. Help welcome

Not bad but why not get the S II for £100 more upfront and 13.50 a month from o2.co.uk although the minutes and data are less.

Because we prefer Orange as we are happy with the coverage and less minutes could catch her out. Not worth the risk for a saving of £1.50 per month

Worst deal ever, or a joke?

Find the deal to buy this for £219 unlocked from mobiles.co.uk then get one of the 3 pay as you go / pay monthly SIMs, cheaper and better with no tie-in

The £5 a month giffgaff sim gives you nearly this many texts and minutes and way more data this phone can be bought for just over £200 this is the worst phone deal ever 250mb of data a month is barely enough to update the weather on the handset let alone surf the net. For not a lot more you can have the S2 and i assure you its one hell of a phone because ive had one since launch. I paid £399 to buy it out right from o2 and had £10 cashback and got it unlocked for free by a mate.

I cant believe that anyone would buy into a 2year contract on a phone that,s already 2years old orange must be laughing there heads off at you right now and i dont blame them, can you imagine how dated this handset will be in 2013? the Antiques road show will be round to value such a old phone.

You mock others and then admit you paid £399 for a phone. Mmmmm....

What calendar are you working off?

The phone was released in June last year. That is June 2010 BTW

As for antiques roadshow, what utter rubbish, the iPhone 3GS is now 2 years old and plenty of people are still having them.

The Galaxy S II isn't that much more advanced to the S and more fool you for paying £400 for one! It doesn't even look that different!

Cold BTW - you can get it cheaper on PAYG

Voted hot for those without large data requirements and who don't get great O2 signal. The £5 a month giffgaff sim no longer includes data I believe and as it is a labs goody bag, it is only available for a limited period (it will cease to exist at the end of this month). So, using the £10 a month giffgaff goodybag as a rough equivalent: £220 + £240 (for two years of usage) = £460

Oops. I thought that some people might be interested in this deal for a phone which in many peoples eyes is still the best phone around. I know friends who still have it paying £25 a month and they love it. At £50 it seems a steal as I would never pay £400 for a phone and then still pay £10 - £15 a month PAYG on top of that. You can't please everyone.
