Good deal but does it come with headphones and a microsd card? If not that lowers it's value a little, as the headphones on the samsung galaxy are quite good.

The thing that concerns me with buying a refurbished samsung galaxy is that it's very easy to damage the screen. I know as I used to own one. Hence I'd only buy one of these if the screen was brand new.

This doesn't fill me with confidence that it will come with either headphones or an sd card.

These are new - come in a white box with no memory card or headphones...

Should we expect the same with this unit?

You would be covered by the Sales of Goods Act, so you should expect to get a phone as described "There may be slight cosmetic flaws to a refurbished phone or its box - these will not affect the phones performance in any way." So you should get an easy refund if it had a damaged screen.

But it was £229 at another retailer brand new, a little while back, and whilst I would entertain the idea of a refurbished phone £223 ain't low enough for me.

Indeed. I ordered one myself but the yodel courier sent the phone back to the sender within seven working days and two days after the date on the card that came through my door. Basically the complete opposite of what it said on the card. They should have kept it for at least seven working days and the card said I had to wait two working days before I go to the depo. I was certainly not pleased when I turned up to the depo to find it was gone.

Can get new ones for around £240 cant you?

£249.90 + £10 top up from mobiles.co.uk is the cheapest i've seen

Yeah, thats what I was thinking of. Id rather spend an extra 40 quid if your gonna be spending 220 on a refurbished one though

First off these don't come with a sd card as new so hardly expect it on a Refurb.

As for the screen being week, seriously? Its made out of gorilla glass and is nigh on impossible to scratch.

Voted hot as you can't get this cheaper and phone Refurbs are usually just the 14 day returns if you don't like them.

Ahem... the galaxy I bought six months ago came with an sd card.

I know it's made out of gorilla glasss but it's very easy to scratch, from my experience anyway as I owned one for six months and made the mistake of not buying a screen protector. It was covered in scratches within a month.

if you have a look at the motorolla forums there are several posts form defy owners conplaining about scratch's on their screens and that phone has gorilla glass as well

Back in stock... HTHs
