I believe this is usable with the 45w charger too! But no ip68 or wireless charging.
Fancy 1 of these but the Sony phone I want to trade isn't listed on their trade in list. Also doesn't appear on discount site either. Note10 lite does.
Has the S10 price drop they announced come in yet?
Also 5%Top Cashback as well

Not that I've seen. And if it has, God help us!
Looks like this almost same as Note 10 lite except the chipset.
Which one is better?
Edited by: "pentaya" 21st Feb
Can we also claim the cashback from quidco/tcb and claim again from Samsung?

I've been torn between them the last couple of days. Went for this in the end due to processor and camera. Some reports the screen is slightly better on this but don't think there's much in it.
Unless you really really want the pen and the headphone jack, I would go for this

I think this has snapdragon chipset and better camera which is good.

Unsure about the body and other caveats though?

Its £50 difference between both. @mrswitch

I thought the lite has the same processor as the s10?
Will also get more OS updates.

The s10 lite has the Snapdragon 855 in tow. Note 10 has the S9 SOC I believe

Does the Note Lite have any water/weather-proofing? I've read that the non-Note does not.

Don't think either lite phones do.

Do you think? I read that's Samsung is likely to forget about these when it comes to updates ?

Don't think either lite phones do.

So what's the point of these phones then? No water proofing is just stupid. They also don't charge wirelessly. I'll just wait for a good deal on the standard s10

Read all the jargon on the launch, they are targeting a different kind of user with these phones blah blah blah.. That means we want more money, so are taking a different tack, Tbf, the s10 lite isn't a bad phone, but the note 10 lite is just pointless
I don’t know why this post didn’t get many votes... to me its heat although I’m seriously waiting for S10.

This is the size of the S10 plus though not the standard S10 it has the generally accepted far superior 855 SoC, I've no idea why anybody needs a waterproofed phone unless you can't stop yourself from dropping down the loo or in the sink. With quick charge an hour on charge a day is usually sufficient for a day's use making wireless charging pointless. WIth the OP7T costing £500+ this is a decent deal if you can live wi/o regular software updates.
Will be getting monthly updates apparently.
Doesn’t seem a great price when there’s been deals for the standard S10 for over £100 less than this months ago

I sense you are talking nonsense if you feel you could pick up a brand new S10, not S10e, for £299 with a full 2 years manufacturers warranty.

I wasn’t referring to the £399 as that’s the trade-in price, I was talking about the £579 standalone price. But you could genuinely have got the S10 from O2 in-store for £435 a few months back with a free Samsung Galaxy Active Watch (that you could sell on for about £135) so by doing this you could have actually got a new s10 for around £300.
I'd love to see a link for that deal as I never saw it mentioned on here, I can't even recall Samsung ever even giving a watch away with a discounted S10, if I could have got an S10 for £300 I'd have got one! .

S10 lite sounds a mid range
If I buy 2 x S10 lite in the same transaction, can I claim back 2 lots of £80, in additional to the £25?

The t & c is confusing. You can only claim a max of 1 reward per promotional product. Upto 4 rewards per household

The original deal posted was for £535 with a free Samsung Galaxy Active watch, but loads of people managed to get another £100 off in store by going to an o2 store and got it for £435 + the watch (including my friend from work who I told about the deal, who ended up keeping the watch)

See below examples of some of the other users comments who also got this if you don't believe me

So you were talking nonsense as it seems totally random if you got the extra £100 discount from 02, you also had the hassle of selling the watch on eBay, plus you had to take out an 02 contract and then cancel it,whilst risking being charged a month's airtime. That's not quite the same as just buying the handset for £400 and submitting a cashback voucher!

I wasnt talking nonsense, pretty much everyone who went into an o2 store got the £100 off and got the phone for £435, so over £100 cheaper than the £579 this one is priced at (without going to the "hassle" of trading in another phone), the watch (worth £150) was an added bonus. To cancel the o2 contract you literally just have to call them in the first 14 days cooling off period and cancel it and there was no charge.

Second this. Taking out a contract then cancelling is risky from what I've read about other O2 deals. Often charged one or 2 months bill & can affect your credit rating.
