And the note 10 lite has screen as big as the note plus but a processor as old as s9. I am baffled.
Watching the whose the boss review of it, he seemed quite miffed by them as well, clearly the s10 lite is the better phone. But that s-pen functionality will come in super handy for the people that want a cheap.... Ish note

Tbf, yours was refurbished, but I understand what you guys are saying.
No point buying this full price specially s11 or whatever it’s called coming out in next few weeks . Surely the price would drop for this once new hardware comes out

S20. But it may drop. Or it may not. Note 9 didn't really drop. We only ever found good deals for used or refurbished versions on here.

March innit ? Probably better off waiting. Although i'm waiting to see what Xiaomi do with 5G phones this year, just got a Xiaomi note 8T which i'm quite happy with. Does everything I want and costs peanuts compared to Sammys but then I do miss the thinness and the lightness of the S10 compared to the Note 8T its like a feather vs a brick hah

The Mi 10 is the one to watch. Looks amazing.
Why is S10 lite so expensive. Surely s10e is the better device. S10 will plummet in price I don't get the point of these devices

The s10 lite improves on the E in the battery department, and that's one of the best things they could have done for me. (4500mAh)

335 bloody hell
I think the Note 10 lite is pretty trash for one reason: The exynos 9810

Throtting, overheating chip found in the S9 with poor battery when compared to snapdragon variants and they want £539 for this woeful chip in 2020.

The s10 lite camera has a pretty poor f/2.0 which in 2020 is pretty poor for a main camera but the rest of the phone looks decent tbh, Symetrical bezel, a good snap 855 and nice big 4500mah battery but for £550 you can find many other snap 855 phones with better camera's also.

BOTH lack
Wireless charging
Water resistance Rating

The s10 lite loses the 3.5MM Jack while the note 10 lite keeps it

IMO the s10 lite is a worse oneplus 7T

Will the s10 lite camera trump the 7t though?
Is it due to Brexit? Samsung increasing the prices and think they can flog nonsense because they named it the galaxy s and note series?

Both phones have the exact same 48mp SONY IMX 586 but the s20 lite has a worse aperature so i would imagine even the 7T's camera would beat it despite it being one of 1+'s weaker areas

Both phones are too expensive for me anyways, just waiting for my 9T pro to arrive hopefully in the next 1-2 weeks (with the same Sony sensor )

£278.60 , I'm trying eglobal first , ordered on thursday and it got dispatched on saturday so decent start, just hope it gets here smoothly, if they lose it or try any other funny business i'll just start a paypal dispute and pay £20 more from HK goldway.

Tbh my nearly 2 year old Honor View 10 hasn't got any issues with it, just fancy a upgrade

Samsung has a 100mpx sensor Isocell Bright HMX. Why the hell aren't they using it ? How come they let other phones use it first?

Good upgrade. Build quality was the standout for me when I had it. A hell of a lot of phone for that price.

In regards to eglobal, I've never had an issue with them personally, but know a lot have, thoigh if your has dispatched already, seems they are on the ball on this occasion (so far)

Because this is a £550 phone, not a £1000+ one. The S20 ultra is going to have that insane 100+mp sensor but not the s20 or s20+

Same could be said for why samsung has yet to make a 90hz display despite them selling 90hz display to Oneplus or UFS 3.0 first to Oneplus with Samsung Chips (Although the s20 series has 120hz if leaks are correct)
This may have made sense if Samsung had released it at the same time as the regular S10.
A year later when you can pick up the regular S10/note 10 for less (due to rapid Samsung depreciation), makes no sense, in my opinion.

Xiaomi is value focused, Samsung focuses on Profit margians

And also the s20 ultra Camera is even better than the Mi note 10, It's a samsung exclusive 108mp sensor with supposed 8k30, 9 pixel binning

that's what I thought, i mean I thought it was the same sensor ... doubt they made two 108mpx sensors. But who knows, it's all a bit hush hush / rumours at this point but I don't think the Samsung 108 mpx sensor is samsung exclusive. It's more than likely it's the same sensor that they plan to use in their next flagship that Xiaomi already uses. It's hard to tell since tech sites just write rumours and twitters as fact.

Horrible price and very very strange release overall... Samsung doing a flagship killer with less but more expensive then most others.

Glasstic fantastic lol

That's just what Xiaomi would have you believe, that they focus on value not profit.

They just target different sections of the market with their flagships, with same ruthlessness, focus and in the case of Xiaomi, less spending on marketing and support (that maximises profits even more)

They reduce the profit on hardware and make it back on software in countries like India where they show ads to users

As for support Xiaomi actually supports their phones MIUI-wise quite well with many phones getting 3+ MIUI versions although android updates tend to be quite average but samsung isn't exactly well regarded for that also. The S8 isn't even getting Android 10

sure didn't mean this particular twitter, i was more refering to websites that go on about leaks and such. Can't count the number of articles written by "expert" journos who turn out to be 18 year old kids that copy everything written on twitter and present it as fact.
