Anyone who has a Monzo or Revolut can share some experience in pros and …Anyone who has a Monzo or Revolut can share some experience in pros and cons, planning on opening 1 but been with Santander for 20+ years

I recommend keeping Santander and using Monzo as your day to day spend.

I use Barclays to receive salary, pay rent and bills. I top-up Monzo my monthly spending money, that way I'm more conscious of what I'm spending money on. I've started transfering bills to Monzo now as I like how it shows on the app how much a direct debit is going to be and then I get a notification when its paid, that way I know if my SkyTV bill has gone up.

What really got my into Monzo was the instant notification for purchases, splitting bills with friends/partner there and then (so easy!) and free cash withdrawals in the EU (which is now back with no £200 limit)

Revolut is good for travelling abroad as a currency card. One disadvantage is the account top up, my current bank treats top ups to Revolut as cash withdrawal which has a daily limit.

Thanks, this was helpful.
So even though it’s online/app based do you still get a physical card to use?

What? Googled or at least looked at their website, they're known for their bright coral card..
Not bad price but I reckon it goes down further a lot

EU charger, useful for holidays
Not so hot for me, CPU it's the Exynos, S10 with Snapdragon 855 are far more powerful.
