I went from a s7 edge to the s10e and it's much better, not sure about the 8 mind. Camera is superb and it's really fast moving from apps! The camera punch is great too I don't notice it at all. Kinda prefer a smaller phone myself so it ticks all the boxes for me, depends what your after tho
All sorts of things the s8 has and the s10e doesn't. Worst most noticeable point is they've got rid of the flashing notification led. Amazing how you miss certain things. You can't change the brightness on the torch like you used to on s8. Haven't noticed any difference with camera.
You can do a work around for this if it bothers you. There's an app that does a flashing circle around the hole punch, you need the always on screen for it to work tho. I think most new phones song have the led anymore though with it being full screen now, I thought it was weird when i first got it but the always on display shows the notification anyways.
Camera is a massive improvement from the s7 edge, maybe they've just done it slightly since the 7 tho
I've got that app but pretty unreliable. Does the shay's on display kill the battery?
Sure it says it does by like 4% or something, it's not ideal but better than nothing if you want a more noticeable notification
I need to check it on the S10e, but you can definitely change the brightness of the flashlight on the S10/S10 Plus, so I don't see why you wouldn't on the S10e.

Nope appears s10e really is cheap skate version. Should have spent the extra £100 now!!
Hey, I had the opportunity to test it on a S10e - this feature is available. Pull down the notification shade, then find the torch toggle and press the "Torch" label.
Thanks but doesn't appear to be there on mine?
No idea. Are you actually pressing the "Torch" label from the quick settings pane, as opposed to pressing the icon?
