Samsung Galaxy S10E on Vodafone with 50gb data and free Spotify £37 per month (£10 a month cashback redemption) at mobile phones direct

This is an amazing offer... I was paying 12.65 for a SIM only and then 9.99 for Spotify a month.

So with the cashback this is only 27 a month so just over 4 pounds a month more with a brand new phone and a lot more data.

I rang Vodafone to try getting a better SIM only deal and told them about this and they couldn't believe it was even possible, kept telling me that the site must be wrong.

They were offering me 25gb SIM only to get Spotify for 24, so makes sense to pay the little bit extra for the free phone too!

Quidco 33.60 also to get it down even further!

Good deal for what's included.
Vodafone are always the same if you quote them cashback deals. Try to scare you by saying its not real they won't pay out.
Been doing cashback for years not once have Vodafone direct got close to whats on offer.
Even if you check their website the want £57/month and £29 upfront for this deal. So even without cashback its still better than what they will probably offer.

Also go through top cashback and you get £42.42 so a month and a half's linerental for free

Yeah I've never had any problems with cashback too, used to do them when you had to mail them off but I think you can just email the bills these days? Either way just make sure you put something in your calendar to remind yourself and you should be fine.

Even on a sim only to get Spotify they were offering it was 24 pounds for 25 gig. Would have just carried on SIM only too as my phone is fine at the moment but this just seems like too good of an offer for me personally since I pay for Spotify anyways

That one says 30 a month, sounds like either the headings wrong or the price has changed since he posted. Can't see anything on the website for 30 with that amount of data

Will be the mod Magicjay "corrected" the OPs title and obviously got it wrong!
Good deal. Shame Vodafone network reliability is so bad. Been with them 2 years, work in London and get no connection or very poor speeds even though my S8 says 4g+. Contract's up in August and I'll going back to EE for sure.

I get awesome Vodafone signal in Newcastle, but the guy on the phone from Vodafone was saying that if you buy from a third party website they don't offer you the same speeds and connection? I don't know how true this is, surely they can't restrict it that much, will wait and see tonight when I have them both on at the same time!
Hmm, that's interesting. I got mine through a 3rd party website. I just find it strange how my phone is saying 4g or 4g+ in certain areas and I get no internet connectivity. But it's only in certain areas. I did speak to them a few months ago and the tech team apparently changed a few things but it made no difference at all.

I don't know if he was just trying to scare me off going through a third party website or not. Surely it would be a negative thing if they did this, as people like yourself who experience bad signal would be put off by it and not get a contract through Vodafone again.

EE is getting progressively worse, I'm guessing more and more people are getting 4G+ enabled phones and they've stopped adding capacity. Oxford Circus and Victoria are dead at certain times of the day. Still not as bad as the others though, Three being the worst.

Could definitely be a scare tactic. Those sales guys can be pretty brazen about the "facts".

Well, that sucks. I had a really good experience with them prior to Vodafone. I work in Piccadilly but live in Kent. Charing cross and
London bridge are my main London areas getting into work and back again and that's where I've been struggling to get decent connections.
are these phones unlocked?

I'm not an expert, but that sounds absolutely like an outright lie to me to try to persuade you to buy the contract via him direct to get that juicy commission. I'm no grass, but in the future I'd record conversations with contract providers (mobile/broadband/TV) and if they make claims like that, give them another call later and get a complaint raised to get a wee bit of compensation/a better deal, because that's shocking and deceitful behavior. I worked in a call centre for a big TV/broadband/mobile company and the problems come from both sides (customers are some of the worst people), but the employees can be manipulative and should know better than to lie like that, there can be serious repercussions for that sort of thing.

I had the same problem, had to phone up and order! They said it was something about how the address lookup has to match what the bank has 100%, ended up using a different card for the payment
