I'd be tempted to pick it up but the lack of UK warranty worries me. Can you get phone insurance through likes of your bank or similar?

Doubtful.

Insurance is based on risk

They will insure the UK/EU model, because Samsung EU guarantees it's function within EU regs, but this model won't necessarily be in compliance with them

Thus this is high risk... My hunch is that it is uninsurable. You might be able to sneak one by, but if the insurer notices that it's the wrong model or asks for proof of purchase you're up the creek...

Snapdragon has slightly better camera processing, audio quality and battery life

Have a read here and make up your mind. Funnily enough they even process photos slightly differently, check out that section.

The photos look a lot better on the SD I noticed.

Basically, this is what they had to say on the conclusion:

"HDR on the Snapdragon unit is consistently superior, as it's able to achieve much better dynamic range and details in shadows. Furthermore, the Snapdragon unit’s colour rendition is more saturated and akin to the real-world, as opposed to the more washed-out pictures the Exynos variant produces."

So essentially yeah, Snapdragon version is the superior one.

EDIT: Actually just picked up on this in regards to the 3.5mm jack:

"I applaud Samsung for still including the 3.5mm headphone jack on the Galaxy S10 – however a big part of the world will unfortunately experience lesser audio quality on their model variants."

Basically Exynos lags behind the Snapdragon on the sound quality from the jack.

Which in itself is rubbish, compared to the new Qualcomm Wireless Plus dac on the SD855, via bluetooth, not the analogue jack!
Will the snapdragon 855 work okay with uk carriers?

Eglobal is from hong kong. you can see on their website.

If you order this you run a very real risk of this getting intercepted at customs and having an extreme customs charge added

Not the case, they bulk ship into Europe and then send out from there. Had maybe 9 devices from them and no issues with customs

What I mean is, if you buy it from this site and it does get intercepted at customs, prepare to pay a sum that at least matches the RRP in the UK in total.

Imo there's no point buying this from this site with the risk involved. you're better off buying it from a UK retailer.

Of course it entirely depends on if you as an individual is prepared to eat that risk

Cheers for the info!
Excellent price, and eglobal include customs in the price so no extra charges despite what others think.

Only problem being is no warranty, maybe a long wait, maybe stock issues, and no communication, but saving this amount over the UK price may be worth it. I'd go eglobal personally to save dosh.

Good price 🔥 🔥 🔥
If you need a warranty repair with this, what happens? Do you send it back to eglobal?

I use Barclays gadget insurance and phone insurance. As long as you add the imei number have have proof of purchase they will replace the phone. It doesn’t matter where you bought it from, it’s not even asked all they want to make sure is it’s not stolen. What difference does it make. If it breaks it was lost.

Got my S10E delivered by them in 2 weeks. First time buyer.
By July will these be around £360-400 ? Currently it’s only £100 difference between S9 and S10. Would it be worth picking up the S10 for this price later on in the summer or save money and pick the S9?

Very much doubt it. S8+ is down to £350 in the UK and £300 from China after a couple of years.
