This is the phone that will change photography.

Meet Galaxy S20+. With revolutionary 8K Video Snap changing how you capture not just video. Add in Samsung Knox security, an intelligent battery, powerful processor, and massive storage — and the Galaxy S20 series unveils a whole new world for mobile.

Cinema-quality viewing that fits in the palm of your hand: Bezels are pushed way back and there's no notch — just a miniscule camera hole. The HDR10+ certified Infinity-O Display offers a big, immersive screen with limited onscreen interruptions.

We leveled up the refresh rate for incredibly smooth scrolling and gaming: 120Hz makes your scrolling smooth with seamless screen transitions. While super fast, precise touch response delivers a more reactive gaming experience. You'll believe it when you see it — and feel it.

Now the highest-resolution video on a smartphone: We've revolutionized the resolution for mobile video—taking it from 4K all the way to 8K. That's 4 times bigger than UHD and 16 times bigger than FHD. That's right, moving images that keep their super-sharp resolution even at the size of a cinema screen.

Such a shame the Exynos chip is yet again significantly behind the Snapdragon in terms of performance and efficiency. That should change next year with Samsung dropping their custom core designs.

None taken! I think it's always a fair comment to make though, Samsung are happy to charge the same despite providing an inferior model in certain markets.

Most people wouldn't care/notice a difference in daily usage though, I accept that.

Trade-IN 100% works. BUT there is a CATCH HERE. SAMSUNG only applies the 20% discount based on the Trade-IN total AMOUNT. Just be extra cautious...

For example with an iPhone 8 trade-in, I've only got £49 discount but if I remove the Trade-In the discount is £99. Technically, I should pay £150 but Samsung is super cheeky with this approach applying the discount on the Trade-In TOTAL. I would sell my phone outside rather than trade-In.

of course but depends which phone you've got. you wouldn't get £80 for an iPhone 4 so if you've got one to trade in then great.

Trading in Pixel 2 didn't work with this model but worked with S10. So selected models only.

no hard feelings as soon as you update the title
it's actually £719.20 if you're trading in a £100 handset

Damn you @MrSwitch just ordered an ultra yesterday .
Nice one Switchy. Its getting close to my liking but still not there yet. Trade in is also not for all the models so that is another thing to think about
Offering a pretty good trade in on iPhone X too...

Yeah, I tried to enter the code on there but it wasn't having any of it
Cracking deal! Did I say I only paid 830 for the S20 ultra and got two pairs of Buds +? No, well I have now.

Bought on eBay, seller applied on the first IMEI and I took a stab on the second IMEI - it worked.

Qualcom have dropped one with the SD865 though, the separate chip for the 5G modem is pushing a lot of handsets to the SD765G which has the 5G modem integrated (albeit a slightly lower bandwidth 5G modem). Quite a few phones that would have had the 865 will be coming with the 765G instead, Should make for some good priced mid-high handsets though as the 765G is a lot cheaper than the 865/5G combo.

You've waited all this time just to say that haven't you?!
Heat added...great find!
Got this. Restarts randomly. Gets hot. 5g has no real use in 99.9% of the country. In order to be usable and stable I am using it on medium power saving, hd+ resolution and dark mode. I am dissapointed realy.

Does this stack with the recently announced 25% discount for NHS staff?

Agreed, it's costing manufactures a lot to use the SD865 if they want to provide 5G functionality too.
