Been looking at the samsung s20 15 percent off offer and seen that currys pc world are matching the reductions but with £80 cashback through topcashback.

Price is already shown as reduced and does not need a voucher code

in that case great!
If you have access to Edenred you can get this down to £639.20, but I'd personally pay the extra for the 5G model.

The 5G model is 769.99 and presumably qualifies for the 80 wuid cashback too.

I barely get 4g where i live/work so is adequate for me, for now.

I can reduce it to that with my work incentive scheme but it says the cashback wont be paid if a egiftcard is used
They have tracked 5.67 as cashback :/ instead of 80

If you plan on gaming do not get this phone. It overheats like mad and throttles the speed.

I want an upgrade on my S9 for a better camera. Been looking between this and the OnePlus 8 pro.

You need to think of how long you'll keep the phone you may get 5G before you are ready to change it, likewise when away from home you may also get 5G now.

It is a great phone but honestly I would recommend the OnePlus 8 pro over it. Much more thermally efficient, better software, nicer screen, charges faster.

I could list more but whichever phone you decide on will be a very good upgrade regardless.

I'm gonna offer an alternative and say I prefer the S20, just, OnePlus always has disappointing cameras and this one is definitely better...but it's still no match. Both fantastic options, however.
Major consideration here, though, is that this is between S20 Exynos and OnePlus8 - if you're willing to order in from Korea then the Snapdragon version of this phone has tested much much better.

True. If you're willing to import, the Snapdragon version of the S20 is amazing. My pixel 4 (which was slated for bad battery life) does better than my S20 exynos with battery life.

Do note that if you import, you forgo having manufacturers warranty.

From what I have read the OnePlus 8 are having issues with their displays ie green tint and image retention.

Only some, s20s had the same issue. Either way you'd be able to get a replacement.

I recently returned my S20 as the photos weren’t that much better than my S9+ considering the cost of upgrading, plus the battery life was far worse although I do miss the 120hz screen, still not worth the extra money though
Has the cashback deal ended
