    Looking to buy a new phone, but new to Giffgaff. This is asking me to choose a monthly plan. Can I not use my existing Lebara SIM?

    No, if it's your 1st time purchase with GiffGaff/new account you have to buy their monthly sim card. Once you have the SIM card you can either just not activate it (no monthly charge), or use it for the month (since you already paid for 1 month usage) and then contact them to cancel the monthly payment.     Top cashback is also offering £25 when you purchase and activate your SIM. Best you activate the SIM you already paid £10 top up so make use of it. And by doing that you should also get the £25 topcahsback. I purchased a handset from giffaff a few months ago and they paid me £40 just a few days ago. Topcashback was offering £40 at that time but it's reduced to £25 now. I have not checked Quidco. (edited)
