Seems a reasonable price for what is only a year or so old phone.

Link takes you to the White but Black is available for the same money.

Currently 22 of each in stock at time of posting.

**please note these come with US 2 pin chargers so you'll need either a travel adapter or a UK micro USB charger - I recommend the latter. Thanks to 5lugger for pointing this out!

Also note this model is US supplied I.e. G900A - for predominantly AT&T customers so it doesn't support UK 800 baud used by O2 / giffgaff. Also be aware there may be warranty issues if not sending back to smartphonestore directly.

Thanks for the heads up!

I tried posting this twice, the first time safari browser on my iPad refreshed and wiped out what I'd filled out so I had to start again

I had mentioned sim free in my original attempt but forgot when rushing to re-post.

On another note want to buy an iPad 4 ....before I chuck it out the window ? Lol

Ships with US charger??

Ships with US charger??

Yes just seen that, missed that little info!. I'll add it to the description to save confusion. I guess as long as it's fully UK spec it's just a case of either using a travel adapter or buying a cheap replacement UK charger.

Is this a G900F?

hamish_baroube

Is this a G900F?

Unlikely. It comes with a US charger so it's probably a US model, and I don't think the G900F is available in the US.

Has anyone dealt with this store before, is it reliable and trustworthy...?

Thanks

It's likely to be the G900A - as provided to America's AT & T customers. I haven't read of any differences in features / GSM frequency support so it looks like the models are very similar.

You're welcome!, glad it helped

I saw these when someone posted the Nexus 6 deal a little while ago. Thinking about getting one as a Christmas gift.

I'm going to assume all the Samsung Chargers will be the same as ...say for a UK S2,S3 ? anyone confirm please....
Edited by: "Hondo" 8th Aug 2015

All the chargers for this phone and the ones you noted will be micro usb in their connection and need 5v. The "faster" and more capable chargers will be rated around 2amp.

Well if it's a G900A then I wouldn't recommend it, as it is missing some UK bands

care with this, this looks like a US handset and it may not have the requisite UK operator LTE bands to work on 4G in the UK ?

^^^^^ Groan now I find out after placing the order

True the clue might have been the two pin US plug included but it should not need a clue but be up front if the phone is not the Samsung SM-G900F model for Europe but the Samsung SM-G900A for AT&T in the US.

There could also be warranty issues with Samsung if that is the case.

I have emailed the store but they only show office hours of Monday to Friday and they have already debited my account.

We shall see.....

Can get these cheaper on ebay

Brrrrrr. Cold. Why would I buy S5 if OnePlus One is still available for £179. It is around £100 left in my pocket. Also OnePlus One has got better RAM and other specs than S5. And no TuochWiz garbage but proper Android experience. People wake up!!! This is HUKD!!!

Yes exactly, cold because a completely different brand of product is cheaper. Nice to see you understand how this site works!.

I just purchased one through Beat my price for £282 and £44 cash back tracked by TCB, that's £238 if TCB pay out. It's a g900f UK version and sold by ipodwarehouse (this seller selling the white version on rakuten for £339.90).

Not bad that. Who did you use to beat the price of?

Didn't realise bespoke beat amazon marketplace...i do now

Be aware though that although TCB are claiming a little over 15% cash back they must base it off ex-Vat or some other logic as i got an £85 spend tracked for £8.50 odd with them and it was advertised as 14% TCB

Just hoping that this phone turns out to be the EU type and not the US one, fingers crossed.

I believe TCB is paid on VAT but not delivery and Quidco does not paid on VAT. In terms of the cashbacks rate, you need to lodge a miss cashbacks claim, it also happen to me last week and they apparent tracked my purchase as normal online purchase.

I appreciate that, now

In my ignorance I did not understand what the potential could have been and was too impetuous to have ordered what I assumed would be a Samsung S5 that would work with 4G on GiffGaff. It was only after reading more did I realise that if it is indeed a US model then I will be stuffed for what I need.
Sadly this had to happen over the weekend when they are closed and have also debited my account already.

Still fingers crossed etc and come Monday I'll be ringing them to follow up on my mail.

You are out of your mind to pay this much for an s5 when the s6 is out. The oneplus one is a far better option for the money. Why would you buy something just because of the branding?
