hot I just paid £400 for one from eBay yesterday

£1 more gets you

Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE 16GB G900F + Universal Clip On 3 In 1 Phone Lens save £11

just below this

Reading the terms and conditions it says:

Customs

By purchasing a product through the Site, customers outside of Hong Kong authorise DigitalRev Limited to make arrangements for clearance of customs on their behalf for the products they have ordered....overseas deliveries may be subject to import duties and taxes.

Not a good phone, plus you don't get UK warranty for this too I reckon.

This is from Hong Kong. Don't forget customs etc!

3. The contract

The contract shall be based on these Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including any such terms and conditions that are purported to be included or applied by the buyer.

By purchasing a product through the site, you agree that such purchase and the import of such product complies with the laws of the country to which you have requested DigitalRev Limited to ship the product, and agree that you will be considered the sole "Importer" of the product to your country for all purposes, including customs regulations and copyright and trademark laws. You acknowledge and agree that DigitalRev Limited's role is limited to procuring products available in Hong Kong and other regions and making these products available through the site to you for purchase in Hong Kong and for your import to your country. In no event will DigitalRev Limited be a party to the import of such products nor will it be responsible for any liability arising under the laws of any country other than Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for the import and sale of products available on the site, including without limitation customs regulations and customs holds, detentions and seizures and copyright and trademark laws.

why not good? just curious

Read the bold bits highlighted by Emlin, so they are;

..l procuring products available in Hong Kong and other regions and making these products available through the site.

To me it means they don't even have the phone themselves; too risky to me as warranty may also be "questionable" as not from manufactorer (their site says local authorise centre for a quote) , getting a refund also may not be easy.

I've spend thousand of pounds on photography gear from DigitalRev over the years and not had a single problem.

Great price for a great phone.

Heat from me

Over 1000 ratings on Trust Pilot and of the ones I've read none have mentioned any additional charges. Seems pretty good to me

I've just noticed that they've updated their terms with regards to customs fees. It used to say that they'll refund any import fees in the unlikely event that any are incurred, yet that part is now missing, so I'm not sure if they offer that now.

after spending £400 my main concern will be warranty as sold from Hong Kong.
Samsung in Europe will not honour any warranty for items that are sold in Asia.

They usually sell cameras, generally good report from customers, but bare in mind products are grey Non VAT. but it's ok for many.

They are awesome! I've spent in excess of £5k over the years on cameras. Have never ever had a problem with them! Massive fan!

DigitalRev has a popular YouTube channel which reviews cameras Canon EF-S 10-18mm IS Hands-on Review: youtu.be/G7Q…AXU

Copied from their checkout page:

"Order Subtotal: £ 399.00

Buy-Together Saving - £
Coupon Saving £ 0
Order Total: £ 399.00
No Import Tax/Duty to Pay:

I think worth a punt

Price seems to be down to 379 now. Also, they said this in a mail to me: "I'm pleased to inform for all order deliveries shipped to the UK, there will be no import tax/duty that will be billed. The payment upon check out is the final amount you will have to pay. Therefore the import tax/duty that is required upon arriving the UK will be billed to us instead by the assigned shipping couriers of your order purchase.
"

This seems a good deal, probably better than the Grade A at smartfonestore for £349 but is it a UK model and will it work correctly?

Just ordered one. Spoke to the consultant online and was told that all duty/import fees are covered in the final price so it looks like a bargain to me.

Seems too good to be true. Does Samsung offer international warranty?

I mailed them with a couple of questions re. warranty and duty before I ordered, replies are below:

Thank you for your email and we are delighted to answer your question.

Got my phone delivered on Tuesday. Well it's pure gamble to me cause declared price for the phone was 32 euros. So I was quite lucky that Customs didn't check the contents of my parcel otherwise I would have to pay at least 70 quid extra. They(Digitalrev ) also included 1 year international warranty booklet with the phone so there is a warranty.
