Been waiting for a good deal for this, without long waits for rebate, or cancelling contracts within 7 days (like O2 refresh), etc. I think this is the best deal so far... If you find a better one (which is without any hastle) please share, so I can return my order :-)

How to get deal:
1. Click Tesco via Topcashback, and navigate to the "/direct" page.
2. Add phone to basket.
3. Use 10% off code TDX-KMNT.

Actual cost: £560 (original cost) - £56 (10%) - £5.04 (clubcard points) - £10.60 = £488.36 (actual cost)

NOTE: White version is also the same price.

updated title, if MODS can confirm, I will adjust accordingly.

So this is £504 really as you can't include your own personal ClubCard points as not everyone has access to your personal Tesco ClubCard account and TopCashBack is not guaranteed.

Good deal for you OP if it all works out.

As the Three PAYG price is no longer available, that is the best price for M8 - post that deal man.

I doubt it, you cant do that when its been opened and used can you?

Great phone or not, just can't fathom why these "trendy" phones cost such a ridiculous amount

Half a grand for a mobile phone.
Stupid

£500 for a phone..... £500.... yes £500.

Can someone repeat that?

My thoughts exactly. Will be £250 in 2 months.

Well, I'm just gonna have to be 'that guy'.

Why not get a Nexus 5 instead?

Its amazing what clever marketing can persuade people to stump out!
I set a maximum of £200 for a phone for myself but so far, I have never paid more than £150 for one that does everything I need it to do.

I shall be getting a nexus 5 soon as I can find a <£270 deal.

£500 for a phone which will be a worth a third of that in 12 Months time is ridiculous.

I bought one from eBay for 390 ( I am not comparing retailers with eBay) but honestly the handset disappointed me , I got note 3 and still think note 3 is better, S5 is very much similar to S4, apart from camera and slightly difference in UI, and few other things, off course better processor but if some one is using S4, not worth upgrading it, I personally believe (just my guess) the handset is not as popular as previous handsets from Samsung. Even Z2 is still selling for higher price but I only like with removable battery, so Samsung is the only choice.

Do you also predict interest rates and lottery numbers???

Purely cosmetically but they don't look as rubbish in real life, I saw the white version and the back was actually quite nice.

However the front reminded me of a larger Samsung Galaxy ACE 2, I say reminded....looks identical.

Really? I'm struggling to find an S4 second hand from a reputable seller for less than £230ish.

People happily pay hundreds for a tablet and this does everything they will do and you will probably use it 10+ times a day.

cold i can get a phone off ebay for £5 cameras on phones what ever next

No chance !

Was looking at the S5 but now waiting for the OnePlus One, looks like a game changer to be honest!!

It cost that much because there is lots of people willing to pay that much.

Just upgraded to Z2, sold my year old S4 for £250. (Kept in mint condition though)

If you dont mind spunking £569 on a handset i wouldn't have thought the £65 would matter that much

Market forces, yeah - you're right.
Also media and peer pressure all contribute.
Me ? I want bargains ! X)

great find!

£500 is a high price for a phone, but when you consider the latest technology and what it is capable of it's a relatively fair price - that something like this costs the equivalent of a week's average wages is quite an achievement. If you have a contract you're paying that much for it anyway, just over the contract's lifetime.

it's the same as someone posting a jaguar deal and complaining that no car is worth £40k.

That's what happens when you buy a newly released phone. What did you expect to happen, the price to increase?

Maybe not 2 months but definitely before Xmas.
