Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB Black/White - £384.34 with code @ Expansys via Rakuten

Uses AUG10 code. Potential for further benefits: ~£33 Quidco and Rakuten points worth £21.20 towards another purchase.

I felt it worthwhile posting in its own right after seeing this thread including some S6 discussion: hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…762 . Apologies if this re-post is against site etiquette.

AUG10 code should be 10% off but only took off £40 for me. Quidco does list this code as compatible with Rakuten cashback.

I ordered this just after midnight last night, also paying £5.40 for express shipping. I have had the shipping email and £33.95 tracked in Quidco. I feel Expansys are a fairly reputable retailer on Rakuten.

EDIT 21/08: Black currently sold out but another batch of whites appear to be in. These are the UK versions: rakuten.co.uk/sho…871

I can't afford it yet but great price

Edit: read post #53 for another good S6 deal and an s6 Edge deal if you have the 10% code ebay code.

Not going to post this because not everyone will have a 10% discount code to use, but I've just bought an unlocked, N910f Galaxy Note 4 from ebay for £386.99 (originally £429.99). Seems to be an excellent seller too (see below). Might be useful for someone. It's an excellent price if you've got the discount (UK model, full warranty, VAT registered etc.)

Heat added good price

Is it unlocked?

Best price I've seen on HUKD so far for brand new, even without the cash back and points.

I've just got one myself and it's processing power is untouchable. youtu.be/wSN…tIA

wish this was the edge.
good deal.....heated

Where did you get the 10% discount from? PayPal email?

If you've got it, it'll be somewhere in your Account details. I think it'll also show up when you're looking at the item - it'll say something like "learn how to get this item for ***** amount". Hope it's there for you.

Found it... now I'm tempted. Currently got a Note 2 running the DittoNote4 ROM, still a quick phone despite its age. However, since the note 5 isnt coming to the UK and the s6 edge plus is stupid money the Note 4 which I almost bought back in Jan is looking more tempting. Problem is its still £380, a fair chunk of cash for a year old device. What do I do? oO

I've been coveting one for a long time so I've finally decided to bite. Damn the consequences! Works out around about £16 a month if you stagger it over 24 months.

No doubt its a good price, just wish it wasnt in gold (_;)

Just bought the edge which comes in at £449. Quidco not tracked yet, but all being well this will bring the price to around £400, so decent deal.

Ha ha ha, I had the same thought. I got over it by convincing myself that I was only going to plate it up with silicone and tempered glass anyway...

Great find OP. Hot xx

Awesome price, but I'm waiting to snag a Samsung Note 5.

I can't bring myself to do it Might just wait out for a good deal to come along for the s6 edge+, I'll be spending more but least it'll feel like more of an upgrade. Most of note 4 software features I can do on my note2 thanks to the ROM. The only worthwhile upgrade would be the amazing screen and the camera, which I only use now and again

I'll wait for the 64gb version to drop below 350...

Shame it's not being released in the EU. Can always import I suppose.

I don't blame you - you've got to be comfortable with the price otherwise you'll always find fault with it. I was lucky enough to get a free phone from an earlier deal this year which I can sell on for about £180 - 200. That's the only reason I'm happy to fork out £380.

You do realise that there isn't an SD slot or a replaceable battery on the 5?

Anyone confirm that this is unlocked?

I nearly caved in and brought the G4 for around £350 a few weeks back, instead I got the nexus 6 64gb for £320 and so far i'm really enjoying it. Nexus 5 announcement likely in a few months aswell so you may want to hold on till then

It says Sim free on the Ratuken order page and usually means it's unlocked however this will not be confirmed until some receives one of these phones.

Personally I'd be more worried about the fact that it doesn't state anywhere not even on the expansys website that this is a genuine UK model S6. There are load of grey imports these days and I wouldn't want to end up with a S6 intended for the Asian market for example. I don't think I'll buy for that reason.

Original Poster

There are not many of these S6s left now. Mine is being delivered tomorrow by Parcelforce.

My order confirmation from Expansys points to the item on their own website. This implies the device is the generic unlocked version for Europe. It makes special mention of how it must be activated in Europe with a European sim.

Will that be brand new phone with it's original box and sealed accessories. ..? anyone knows. .?

I heard Samsung was going to drop the price of the S6. Anyone know if it's happened yet? No SD card so thinking I want at least a 64GB one if I get one, I really want a smaller phone (smaller than the S6) but all the companies seem to be releasing phablets.

what roughly price for Samsung S6 edge 32gb on market? is that correct that on market cheapest is 390 quid?

this basically is a lowered price of the s6, as Samsung has sold a lot more s6 edges it had to react.

if you want a smaller phone (and cheaper than this) go for a samsung galaxy A3. you will not be disappointed.

filip737

Thanks for the suggestion, the problem is I want a small high end / flagship phone. I've got a Note 3 but want to change it for something for one handed use. There's the Z3 Compact but not sure how long that will be supported as I hear there might be Z5 compact next month/ rumor though. I've never had an Apple phone but might even think of trying a 6S, although thinking og using iTunes really puts me off, then there's this s6 bit bigger than I want but best small 2015 flagship phone.
