Not a fan of samsung but have to admit it is a good price.

Post the deal then!

just got the phone and love it

cold.. not Windows Phone...

Surprised Amazon have let then get away with calling themselves Prime Shopping. I'm sure some people have bought and thought they were buying from Amazon directly.

Cold not Apple, also crap phone since they removed so card and removed lie battery.

Did I catch all the hate comments in one before everyone else?lol

Seriously it's a good phone, heat added

Based on the price only, in the current market this is a good priced. However, I agree with the general sentiment that the price will drop further. What is really annoying is this is a premium phone which shouldn't have a weak battery life. The battery is sealed in and the main driver for this approach is to cut manufacturing cost. Come on Samsung, if you want to charge a premium price don't stick in a weak, sealed-in battery.

Good rating, but only 135 reviews in the last 12 months, when spending this much, I tend to go with more established UK based sellers, if not amazon themselves, personal preference though! Heat for the price!

Yes, and not UK stock as expected, a grey EU import like many others are selling that comes with a EU 2 pin plug. If I was spending this much on a phone I would just say sod it and pay the extra £30-£60 and get it directly from Amazon for no hassle genuine UK stock.

I think the main driver for the small'ish battery is getting the phone 0.0001mm thinner than the iPhone.

I've had my S6 for a couple of weeks now. Battery life isn't fantastic, but taking off the charger at 7am and dropping it back on again at 11pm, I've not had less than 40% charge left so far. Wifi, bluetooth and Location are on all the time. Not used any of the low power modes so far. It gets a couple of hours of music/audio books per day and I've got several pages of apps and several realtime widgets on my launcher. The CPU, chipset and screen must be pretty efficient so the small'ish battery doesn't matter as much. It doesn't seem to be any worse than my mates' iPhones. It's better than my Nexus 5 ever was.

My biggest gripe is the memory management is overly aggressive, so when you switch between apps, it's often killed whatever you put to the background. Annoying if you are half way through reading a web page and you go off to check an email and switching back reloads the page and takes you to the top.

Battery life should improve when 'M' is available

Grey import - does it include the fast charger I wonder? Bought an open box UK model from a genuine, VAT registered UK seller via eBay for £340 last week. Great phone and glad to be rid of my laggy G3.

GuigsyUK, How do you find the phone generally, would you recommend it overall? l'm in the market for a new phone and the S6 has some really good reviews.

Yes maybe! I doubt it though after seeing the story on Watchdog where people didn't even notice they were signing up to Amazon Prime and being charged a month after the free trial! I can't imagine these people noticing this seller is not Amazon direct!

Amazon direct is only £25 more and you will be glad of that if you ever have a warranty issue. Forget posting off to Samsung and waiting weeks, a quick chat to Amazon and a brand new replacement the next day and a prepaid label to post the faulty one back.

My carrier is EE they've not even released 5.1.1 yet on EE. It's still on the awful 5.0.2. The wait for M will be painful on EE.

Also EE install computrace, which cannot be uninstalled and tracks everything (look at the permissions)

Any owners here? What is the battery life like on this in day to day use?

the note 4 battery life is amazing.better than z3compact that I gave to my son so Samsung knows how to make phones with fantastic battery life.i think a lot of poor battery life is to do with these 8 core 64bit jobbos

It is a good price, but I have to I'm chuffed to bits from my 128GB S6 purchased for £504 from Fonis. Yes your phone gets sent from Dubai but it is completely fully sealed. Granted it's an EU model but does include the fast charger (well, I think it's a fast charger. It says 'adaptive fast charge' on the top of it.

Excellent price. I thought about getting the 64GB version, but the 32GB does me as I never listen to music other then when it's on the radio so I only need space for apps.

It's clear this phone isn't selling in anything like the numbers Samsung hoped it would. And itsort of serves them right TBH. With this model they tried to be Apple in a crowded Android market (unlike Apple with their non-existent ios competition) and have had their pants pulled down big style. This phone will get way cheaper pretty soon imo.

I don't think that why they the S6 is suffering. After all, the S5 was a typical Samsung iterative update, yet failed to sell in the kind of volumes Samsung was used to.

Samsung are being torn apart by value Chinese brands and Apple.

Has there been any figures on the S6 sales? All I can find is that they estimated the sales would be a lot more than they are, which obviously gives no indication of if they are selling well or not?

Installing the official UK generic ROM won't trip the Knox counter - you don't have to stay with EE's modified ROM. You can always install it back later for warranty purposes.

This most likely won't be a genuine UK model so may not be covered by Samsung for warranty purposes. Download this app when you get the phone. Check the CSC code section to make sure your country is correct.
A lot of 3rd Party amazon sellers are not providing UK stock (despite being listed under Amazons Genuine UK handset listing) so the above app can check. Also ensure you get box with a label covering the top and a corner. Good price if it turns out to be a UK handset.

The battery life its really something people have been complaining but I read that samsung realized an update called "Samsung Push Services"( get it on playstore) that is supposed to help ..
Can anyone please let me know if it really helps ?

Other question I have is that i saw this phone on EE shop and 3 network and the Android system by itself was consuming 15GB of space and therefore leaving you just 16gb free of use..
I've checked with some friends and none of them have this issue( OS is showing avg 6gb) but i got really curious about this...

Anyone had this issue ?

Cheers everyone!

On my S6 only 6.81gb is taken up as 'system memory'.

I have 24.58 available space for apps e.t.c.

cant even put a memory card in this phone ! poor effot

These won't be UK spec models. Most likely imports from EUR or US as that Prime Shopping seller has a NY business address.
