Isn't it recommended you avoid Music Magpie for refurbs?

Yes shame as I got for CDs and most ok

Still using my S6. Not exactly cutting edge anymore but Nougat made it pretty slick and the camera's brilliant.

Nothing wrong with the S6. Still a great phone that's more than capable of handling today's tasks lagfree.

I heard on posts here that refurbs are very hit or miss and can be shizer?? Anyone confirm this?

I presume if you are not satisfied with it you can always return it for a refund

I'm still on an s6 too. Just been refurbished by Samsung after it developed a home button fault with a month to go on my 2 year warranty and it's good as new. New £4.99 EE payg month contract started and I'm a happy bunny that's £35 a month better off for not getting a new phone that's really only marginally quicker, lighter, better camera etc

That part is a bit worrying: "This product will show moderate signs of wear and tear, the item has been fully tested and is in excellent working order.

Does say it's 'good' condition the 'very good' ones go for £230

I'm cold only because I think the step up from the 6 to 7 is huge I'd advise people to try and spend a little more and get the 7

Sorry but if you consider Chinese NEW phones which I am using now you get a lot more of the latest technology for less. Cold

I'm sick to death of the abused term "Refurbished" they do nothing to these phones bar reset and clean them. Hardly a refurbishment......

Plus latest updates installed.
Notmuch else you can do... Batteries are not removable.

Agreed

I had to return mine today because of the poor battery life.

Too dated

MM's quality control leaves a lot to be desired. MM sent me a filthy, dented iPhone 6 "Very Good" with a very bad battery. Another person on that deal got a "Good" iPhone that was completely battered - like the whole case had been trampled on. See post #51 on this thread...

Then there are other people saying their "Good" phone was in good condition. So think it is luck of the draw. My experience put me off them to be honest. I've had a lot better luck with O2 where the phones I got have hardly been used so the batteries are in good condition.

No it isn't, for the majority of people the s6 is more than enough and will be for many years.

If you need to be seen with the latest phone, then this ain't for you.

Furthermore, voting cold and recommending people pay more, for no real reason doesn't quite fit in with the idea of this 'deal' site.

Voted hot to counter

xiaomi redmi note 4 with band 20 for 4g

My S4 is coming to the end of its life but I'm at a loss to which Samsung to go for next. Any advice peeps?

I've just bought the s6 edge 32gb from them for £149.99 locked to o2... The s6 seems quick enough from watching speed tests and it'll be a big upgrade from moto g 1st gen.

I'm hoping it arrives in good condition or it'll be going straight back!

Have some heat.

They was 4 in stock before I bought one, looks like they have all sold :(.

Here's hoping mine doesn't arrive like the iPhone posted above!

I purchased an iPhone 6 from MM a year ago, It looked as though it has been dropped from space, absolutely battered, I had to send it back. Just ordered an S7 Edge, let's hope condition is decent.

Thanks for the post OP.

Just got the last one but was showing £179 - 5% = £170 but still a good deal.

Lets just hope there arent too many scratches, like the horror stories here. :-)

Well my phone arrived this morning.

Just a plain brown box but is pristine condition apart from one slight nick on the top bezel.

But on inspection when I turned it on they seems to be a slight screen burn on whites about 1/2 cm down from the top it looks like facebook bar, are these phones prone to burn in?

Am tempted to return it I have 14 days to decide.
Edited by: "Rocketronnie7" 14th Jun

Well I have sent them an email, surely they should have picked up on the screen problem when buying it off the customer.

Heres a pic I tried my best to make it show up on my poor moto g haha!

I would like to bet that they would only pay me the faulty going rate of £36.47 if i was selling in as is as on their buying page it says -:

  • Damaged ports, liquid damage, bleeding LCD or damaged pixels

I like the phone aswell and could probably get away with using it as is just don't want to be humped when I go to resell it on as if I chuck it on eBay i'd have to describe as is.
