Heat from me

X) @ 1gb data

I've gone for the £30pm 3GB data with £0.99 upfront cost deal! Both deals are good!

I don't spend my life on my phone so 1gb would be adequate for me and this seems a reasonable deal so heat added

Fact 1. Everyone I know who owns a S6 Edge has said it is a gimmick and they wish they saved money and got the standard version.
Fact 2. I only know one person who owns this.

Yeap, would think twice about the edge. Looks pretty but a case (which most people would use) just ruins it. Also there isn't a good edge-to-edge screen protector out there at the moment.

I'd rather get a 64gb regular s6, heck even the 32gb over this

Do you only know one person? As that would narrow things down for us.

£660 for a phone with a phone tariff (Unlimited mins, Unlimited texts, 1GB of data). If you don't want the tariff you can get the phone a lot cheaper. For example £499 from Giffgaff SIM free and quite possibly cheaper elsewhere.

The funniest part is phone companies still claiming "FREE handset" in 2015. Surely everyone's woken up by now...?

Yeah it's stupid, just as Unlimited doesn't mean Unlimited At least Giffgaff give you the option of monthly payment on the phone without a tariff, so a Galaxy S6 Edge is £27.71 a month or £499 outright payment and you add on the tariff you want after. I guess that's the fairest way of seeing the real costs. I don't use Giffgaff btw so I have no interest in promoting them, it's also not very cheap way of doing things either. Makes this deal look good actually.

That a No then over £900 is a bit much

i got 5gb of data with the same phone/mins/msgs for £32 month.

i didn't think i would use that much data - used to have 1GB, but you can tether it and use it with ipads etc.

that mobiles.co.uk has got awful reviews too.

Its ok if you can cope with being stuck with a fixed amount of storage. Just put a 128GB SD card in my S5 which I'm really chuffed with its already half full of videos and photos. I'm hoping Samsung will bring SD support back & waterproofing for next S release, stupid not to now after all this time Android gets unified storage so no more moving things to SD card etc just one huge pile of storage. Fingers crossed for S7....

Fact 3. check the small print when you go over 1GB......never going to be £27.50 a month

Thanks, cheapest price for the edge. Would have gotten the S6 if the edge wasnt the same price.

Can't justify over £500 extra for a smartphone anymore!

Available on Amazon now too and for £31 you get 3GB data

Yeah, I bought it off there instead, more reliable. They also chuck in an extra 1gb data bolt on for the first month.

I went for the Amazon deal. Disappointed to see that 4g is unusable most of the time and even 3g is worse than my old s4. Love the look of it but can't live with the poor reception.

Wow how come, O2 bad in your area? Strange, it's fine on my Edge
Edited by: "nimaalyson" 6th Nov 2015

I'm in London. I phoned o2 up and their advice was to turn 4g off because the networks can't cope with the demand. I had no signal whilst a friend on a iphone had 4 bars even thought they're on o2. Perhaps it's a faulty phone.
