MicroSD Card slot?

Nope.
Rakuten expansys deal is cheaper than this. so cold!
Freezing cold, its £385 on amazon
Why on earth do people get so precious about their deal not getting votes and another getting some love?

Deal with it, if you've saved some money then that's good. If it upsets you that much then you should probably work on getting a thicker skin
Can't believe they dropped the microSD...
Cheaper on Amazon, not a hot deal
No micro SD and no way to change the battery seems a bad choice to make.

Do you know if the new note is the same? I love my galaxy its my world *bad dum tush* but its getting old and needs an upgrade. I don't want to switch brands but losing the battery and SD is not an option for me.

I would imagine it's like the S6 Edge Plus i have, getting well over a day with with very heavy usage and cannot complain.
shame the battery is poor and cant be swapped!
I have an LG G4 and its a beast with a micro sd card slot and a really good removable battery. I would advise anyone who wants a sd card slot and a decent removable battery to wait a month for the LG V10 which looks awesome and may in fact be the best phone of this year.

Totally agree with you, why is it getting voted hot. That's much better. I put 'platinum' in the title X), that's my theory.
Great price, voted hot!

For good reason, although it's a technical one. The flash storage on this phone is very fast, likely the fastest on any phone released this year. To include a MicroSD can would compromise the overall experience of the phone, due to SD storage being many times slower than the internal storage.

WORTH £99

Fastest chipset of any phone released so far, the camera is in the top 3 smartphone cameras released this year, Z5, S6 and G4. The internal flash storage is rapid and the fastest so far in any phone released this year. The build quality and finish are excellent. It runs Lollipop 5.1.1 and will be updated to Android 6.0. The LCD is the best in any phone out. All I can say is you're trolling and you know it.

Best is dependent on criteria when choosing a phone. It's impossible to say that the V10 is the best generally.

The V10 certainly doesn't have the best chipset or internal flash storage or screen. The camera will likely be on par with the S6. The V10 is larger. It depends what you require. It will be a decent phone. It's not the best if you want the best camera, that goes to the Z5, it's not the best for raw performance, the S6 wins that. It won't have the best screen, the S6 has that, although there have been bad batches initially. The G4 has the same form factor as the S6, so form factor is a consideration too. I'd bet that the S6 has the worst battery performance out of all of these phones. I really hope when it gets Marshmallow that it's sorted or I'll have to custom ROM mine, but I'll be doing that at some point anyway.

Yes the battery is terrible on the S6. It's so bad I'm tempted to custom ROM so I can sort out that problem. However Marshmallow update might considerably improve it. The problem is it's Android. I'm getting tired of Android now. It offers more than any other mobile OS but at a cost, that cost is that it's still an inconsistent mess. It only works on phones, on tablets due to hardware variance some apps still have issues and it's a nightmare on embedded systems such as Sony TVs.

a custom rom wont improve it that much.... your best bet is a battery case!

A custom ROM gives me optimisations not available on stock. I could easily get more battery life as I'd have control of the CPU parameters, streamlined OS and optimisations that ROM devs bake in to the ROM. I'd also have access to Xposed framework and custom kernels. You definitely can get a better battery life I'm certain of it.

For example, this ROM >

Loving my G4. Camera is awesome, battery seems great and removable, extra storage, buttons on the back feel more natural, fast, smooth, great screen.
Main things i wanted after my N4 was good cam, removable and better battery, extra storage, nicer screen and 4G. All for a decent price, got mine for £294 so well happy.

V10 will be great but the price will be high.

I don't understand why a removable battery is such a big thing surely it is easier to carry a power bank around with you and charge the battery that in the phone rather than carrying a whole battery around with you ?
The battery is woeful, absolutely woeful.

Do you remember when Markus Brownee from Youtube fame said the same thing?

Seems to me like you want to justify your purchase, G4 has an SD slot and S7 will probably too when Samsung will see the reaction of the market to this silly decision to ditch it.

The speed increase in the internal memory is insignificant compared to competition, and cards also get faster and faster, and they can be used for photo/movie storage (and they will be plenty fast for that).

But you already know all this.

ticker skin....it only someone would post a deal about it lol
Thanks for posting.

The S6 is not waterproof either like the S5, another reason I've been looking at the S5.

I posted a deal to the S5 here for anyone in the same boat as me

I don’t know, I’m afraid. The salesman just saw me looking at the S6 while my g/f was buying stuff and we got chatting about it. I didn’t ask about any other stuff.

Personally, I love my HTC one M8. I get three days usage out of it if I don’t hammer it.
Looks an amazing phone but they should have made the battery a bit bigger. I don't know why companies are so obsessed about making their phones super slim at the expense of battery life. Still, you can always pick up a powerbank to get you through the day.

That as maybe but whilst I wouldn't work on a PC without an SSD for the OS, which is presumably the flash equivalent, I'd still use a mechanical drive for music and video, as the access speed is broadly academic.

I still want a MicroSD in my phone and am yet to hear a convincing argument as to why the option shouldn't always be there.
