Not on O2 Refresh. You can pay off the device balance and cancel the airtime. If you search for Refresh deals previously posted there is a lot of info available.

On receiving the phone call the customer care. Mention you want to cancel airtime contract and are ready to pay device charge. Do not use the sim. Everything done for u.

Free, just make sure not to cancel the contract before you get the unlock code. Also possible it may come unlocked already if the previous owner did so, my Note 3 from another O2 Refresh deal was already unlocked when I received it.

If it's anything like that deal, then you'll get this in a small brown box with a cable in, O2 doesn't supply chargers normally so make sure you have a quick charge one already otherwise this will charge slower.
Direct link?
Checkout isn't working
Sorry but I don't get the prices in the OP.
Ordered thankyou very much...

When cancelling Airtime will they give me option for paying off device price of £240 in full or will I have to pay as a direct debit of £10 a month for 24 mths?

But will they unlock the phone if you still have the contract ? Or do they have to unlock phones legally theses days upon request ?
Just Wondering

O2 have a very hassle free policy on unlocking, it's free and can be done at any point with a pay monthly contract. I had my code in just over 24 hours but turns out I didn't even need it as I didn't check to see if it was already unlocked. Says up to 72 hours online but as I mentioned before just make sure not to cancel the airtime before you get the code just in case your phone isn't unlocked.

They will unlock it whilst you're in contract, so you unlock it whilst you have the Refresh plan. Then once you have the code you cancel the plan within 14 days.
ordered - hope this works out - not used the refresh thing before.

Nor me..After buying,If you have received the ten odd welcome emails from O2 about the contract etc etc does that mean you have definitely passed their credit check?
Às far as I can see they haven't taken the £19.99 from my account so was wondering, cos my credit scores been a lil crap lately

you are right. thanks
How much are official fast chargers if it don't come with one?
Mrs wants S6 coming from her S2. Thinking of this or best to fork out £359 with Argos!?

Just a little expensive. Not sure I trust Amazon deals with them being from Russia half of phones
I just use one of these as my charger for everything. It isn't officially certified for QuickCharge but the 2.1a ports on it don't seem far off in terms of charging times. If you don't have the space or don't need to charge a number of items, can get something like this which is both smaller and Qualcomm certified for 2.0 QC.

Why would they send phones from Russia?

Why would they send phones from Russia?

Heard few comments saying phone booted in Russian and one had his in Dutch. Another got a euro plug and converter.
Maybe a 3rd party seller gets them cheaper from there to sell on. That's why price more competitive
If this had been the 64GB version I'd be doing back flips right now.

I'm also concerend that 32gb is not enough but its cheap enough to give it a go.
Received my phone today, tried Vodafone sim, didn't work so asked for unlock code from online guru, said I should receive within 7 days. Now let's hope cancelling airtime is that easy too..
Will wait for unlock code before cancelling airtime of course.
worked for me I had 1 gold and 1 white
Got my phone today. Minus the charger. Rang up O2 who are sending me a new charger. Paid off the £240 and requested the unlock code. Was told could take 7 days. Rang virgin for a replacement sim (nano for a micro) they said £5 please sir I said I would leave they said have one for free i said ok. Happy days!
How good is the battery on these? The G4 is too big and the S6 seems ideal size. Will I get a day and around 4 hours screen time?
I requested an unlock code but was told I need to insert the sim for 24 hours before they can do so....anyone else had this response ?
