No clue.

The next best deal is with Mobiles.co.uk, £85 upfront, £25 p/m for unl min/text but only 3gb data, and that's with Vodafone (not best reputation)
Total: £685

Whereas this is with Three and 4G. Factoring in TCB it's only costing £5 extra per month where you get 8gb.
Total: £840 - £34.50 = £805.50

£805.50 - £685 = £120.50
£120.50 difference / 24 = £5.02

Don't be fooled with upfront cost of the other deal trying to make it lower/more attractive. It all boils down to whether you want more data or not, and the provider.

Yeah i get you , this is better if u want more data

good deal in my opinion for a lovely phone......got mine few months ago....on ee. 4g, unlimited mins, txt, 5gb data and the handset for 29.99.....for 8gb data and no handset cost, this is a good deal in my limited opinion.....

p.s. the phone on silver is lush......

Hi this is a great deal but not a clincher for me, i currently have a 3 contract coming to a end in january. Whereas you say essential plans included this unfortunately means no feel at home which is disappointing. Essential plans don't offer this and that means you can't use your phone abroad (you can but will be charged roaming rates) which i currently do when i go away on breaks etc. The feel at home add on is a massive saver for me as data is also included when using your phone abroad. S8 not long of coming

I think deal is decent as 8gb but samsung deals for new phones on here are almost always voted cold. Last time I reaearched for edge around start of Dec it was £646 with Voda and 6gb, £761 with o2 and 3gb, £818 with EE and 5gb. This deal is around £805 like for like (I.e. incl cashback) with no up front so not bad.

3 are the worst, most painfully difficult mobile provider out there. Was with them for 2 years. Never again.

I think it depends what city you are in etc..

Have to say..been with them over 4 years in Glasgow now..Cracking 4G reception.. Good customer service. On my 3rd Contract now...when you sign up to pay £30 a month they don't change it, that's what you pay the entire contract..thats why I left EE.

Also..a guy I work with..also with 3 ...seen a better deal last year with EE and took a phone with them, he previously like me, a perfect signal at work with 3...but since moving to EE...signals been awful at work.. has to stand in certain areas to make a phone call!!!

Sometimes its too easy to blame a network

Anyway for those requiring more data... You can get theSamsung Galaxy S7 Unlimited Mins / Texts & 12gb data for £35 per month, with £60 upfront for the handset. Got that very deal this week.
