Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32GB Black Perfect Like new O2 Refresh 5GB - £351

Foreword: Hi guys, I have been looking for a new phone for the last two weeks. Been thinking about Moto Z. Something about the Moto Z didn't feel right for me, so I was looking further. Honor 8 for £299... well it is nice, however, I will still want to have something better. Today I came across the following deal. I know this is not the cheapest ever, however, I think this phone is worth 351 and new Galaxy S8 once introduced at the ridiculous price of £800 will still make people go for S7e. I believe S7 edge will do just fine for the next two years.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - Like New, Perfect

Go for the 5GB deal with £39 upfront and £39 monthly

Airtime - £26

Device plan - £13

The phone element of contract is £13/month x 24=£312

plus the £39 you paid upfront.

Total: 312 + 39 = 351

Step by step guide for this deal (I copied it from one of the previous posts.)

1) Get the deal.

2) Receive your phone and sim card.

3) Put the sim card into your phone and go onto myO2 (app or website) and from there request the unlock code.

4) Call 202 from the same sim card as it will make things much easier, go straight to the I want to leave o2 department or something like that (I think it's thinking of leaving us? Press something) as that will connect you with the right people much quicker.

5) Tell the person you want to pay your device in full and cancel the airtime. They will ask you why, tell them you don't think the airtime is a good value for money, but you want to keep the phone because you think it's an outstanding value for money. They will ask you for card details, you tell those details and that's it, they cancel it for you in about an hour.

6) You own the phone from that point, assumed that you have done this straightaway, there won't be any charges, otherwise, you will have to pay as much airtime as you have used.

7) Unlock code will come through in about 2 to 48 hours.

------------------------------

Worth mentioning if you choose 'Perfectly Fine' from the drop-down condition menu, lowest price is £321.99:

For example, the 500MB, £129.99 upfront deal works out to:

£129.99 + (£0 x24) [Airtime plan cancelled] + (£8 x24) [Device plan paid off] = £321.99

2 hours later & the £321.99 offer seems to have been pulled - sorry :-(

It's saying £44 per month when I click on it
£39 option is there, just need to decide whether I want to plunge for a refresh deal. Hot though
My S7 Edge lasted all of 2 months! But I do miss that spectacular camera, and would buy another at the right price. I think TouchWiz made it feel a lot more sluggish than it should though.

I have been looking and cannot find the combination you're suggesting. Are you sure it hasn't changed or isn't for 'perfectly fine' condition (e.g. Grade B/C)?

S7 edge was a massive disappointment. Gimmicky edge screen, rubbish vr... cant find screen protectors to fit. Wouldn't do it again
dont know why you all **** samsungs off and to say that your phone lasted only 2 months.all i can say is that you must be playing cricket with it.had samsungs right through the range for years never ever had any problems with them.sold my s7 edge because im getting the s8 and the prices will further drop.im cold for this thread because the prices will be better when the s8 is released
Seems a good deal. Anyone done one of these o2 refresh deals before and can confirm "like new" is an accurate description?

Why would anyone gimp a high end smartphone by using it with a screen protector? If the screen can't last without one when used casually with a decent cover or case then surely it isn't fit for purpose?

Found a nice screen protector which fitted mine perfectly, only cost £3.50.
Just to add I'd rate my old s5 better. But they both killed genuine SanDisk mem cards... one of the main drivers for buying. Going to get a Samsung mem cards to see if they fare any better. On balance wireless charging is good as is the cam. Still wouldn't do it again

Did you deliberately write it like a child? My S7 Edge suffered the dark lines fault with the AMOLED, it's a widely documented issue and all over the web. Samsung wanted my phone for 2-3 weeks and wouldn't replace it with a new one so I would end up with a £700 refurb or repaired handset. The phone was mint condition, not a scratch on the body or glass.
I been looking to change from my sim only S5, which I've had trouble free for nearly 3 years, I wanted an S7, but having done a bit of research I think I will stick with my S5, which costs me just £9 per month, if it don't broke, don't fix it I reckon...

People like keeping it looking grade A so it can be resold.
sorry to ask a daft question but do T&Cs allow cancellation of air time plan while keeping device plan. i know it has been here for ages but someone at work mentioned O2 stopped it so not sure? ta

I appreciate the honesty. I hope it works well for you. In my case, I have been waiting for nearly two weeks for the right deal and never considered S7e. I know that some people wait longer, however the ones that do definitely can afford the wait. I do not want to be clicking refresh on pages over and over again taking the focus away from other activities. Constantly checking stock levels. After all I think it costs me more not having the phone around.

I meant did the deal change after you ordered it. On the website (via mobile), the tariff you suggest comes up at £9.99 upfront and £18pm device and £26pm airtime (5GB)?

Boeing had battery problems on some of their aircraft which overheated and caught fire. Much bigger issue than the Samsung battery problems. Are you saying Boeing should not be allowed to design and manufacture aircrafts anymore?
    Great
i don't know how these "like new" phones will be but goodluck, personally, i would wait for the price to come down but i would say this deal is good if you want a second hand phone.

Can you just do that without credit report taking a hit? Surely there a catch? 351 for s7 edge and thats it?

And if you're happy with a substandard phone go with the S7 Edge over the oneplus 3t and get ripped off with a phone that isn't the quickest, isn't the best on battery life and doesn't charge the quickest.
Samsung will release 2 if not 3 new models this year, so in that sense exactly the same as Apple.
I don't get the Apple bashing here...where does it day they are going for an Apple device?

I guess you actually are serious with this comment, ah well we can't all know what we're talking about I suppose.

Redmi Note 3 is a great budget phone, it doesn't compare to a S7 Edge though.

Thank you for the question. I just double checked for you.
    Click the "get deal" button.
Scroll down. Click "Show more" on my pc it is the 11th position on the list.
    39 upfront + 39 monthly

I would say, keep on scrolling it is sorted by the upfront price of the device.
does this o2 refresh deal work on any o2 mobile contracts?
