Samsung Galaxy S8 24 monthly contract - £23/month + £150 up front on Vodafone @ Mobiles.co.uk

4GB data, unlimited texts and minutes. I haven't had any issues with Vodafone over the past two years and this is the best deal I could find around for the s8.

I have no need for any more than 4gb data, nor any need for the S9 so this is a great deal for me. Called Vodafone today and the best deal they could give me directly was around £770 as a retention offer.

Use VODA25 to get upfront cost down to £150

This is a really bad deal.. a 1+ year old phone and still £+150 upfront LOL .. if you look around you can get a s9 pre order deal at the same price or less. Come on..

Could you really find me an S9 deal that is even nearly around £702 overall?
Im happy to pay 150 now to make the overall spend less.

All well and good having a "free" handset when you pay £40/month which comes to £960.
Anyway the s9 is too similar to warrant paying any extra imo. I cant imagine s8 will price drop by a radical amount in the next month. I work it out as 500 for the phone and 200 for the data. Surely that's not too bad, from a reputable seller?

P.s. this is good if you dont have 500+ quid lying around to buy one outright then go SIMO

Didnt intend to come across that way at all, I'm just puzzled.
I dont understand why the upfront fee is a negative if it offsets the overall cost. Also i literally cant find a contract deal that comes close to £700. Unless you go sim only ?
I'm with you OP, i can't find anything close to this deal. S9 has no big changes to warrant its pricetag IMO. Ordered and heat from me.

At last someone agrees! i wasnt sure if i was going loopy and somehow bought into a horrible deal.. in reality its the best contract available at the moment for S8 and even paying for the phone in 1 lump sum you'd still break even when paying for just a sim over 2 years!

All s9 contracts are in excess of £1000 atm. 30% more expensive with no where near that value in upgrades.
Cheers OP. I've done a number of searches today and this seems the best deal overall.

Well found and thanks! Just orderd one
Thanks OP. Voda coverage is bad in my house so opted for the slightly pricier 02 deal.
Don' forget Tcb. Should make a dent in the deposit. Heat from me.
Best deal around for S8 at the moment, top aback or quid on brings the price down too.
Don't know if this is any help to anyone but if you have an old phone to trade in (rather than leaving it in that draw till it no longer turns on like none of us have ever done before!!!) then the S9 is available from £19.99 a month with £53.30 up front, this is handset only so then add to that (just as an example as this would be all i personally would need) £8 pm for ultd calls and tx plus 3gb 4g data gives a total of £27.99 pm plus your £53.30 up front total over 24 months would be £725.06
Where is the S9 available for this deal?
Managed to get ee to offer me the same contract but with a one off few of £10. Just not sure the data is enough! I'd be crazy not to right?

Please share that link. I can't find it anywhere and will order an s9 on the spot for that price.
Just wait a little longer and S8 prices will drop significantly
