Yeh its EE Max, I'd love the cold voters to show a better deal with the inclusive mins texts and data, with no upfront cost.
(Is it a lot of money for a phone....eh yes, but this as far as i can see, is the best price for someone who can only afford one via a monthly contract instead of buying sim free).
Jeeze people on HUKD sometimes want summit for nothing!

Behave yourself. If it was 24 you'd ask for 30 months
Not for me. I don't know what some people are expecting.

Free phone, unlimited everything for less than the cost of a phone on simfree?

Heat added.
SIM free goes for £600 already on Gumtree...and will be a lot cheaper after few weeks.. So no point to tie in for 24 months on contract....

How many deals have you posted?
Zilch, nope, not one.
Thanks.
Jesus there's a lot of salty HUKD members who are annoyed they can't afford this phone and so they downvote every single S8 deal.
It's pretty childish if you ask me.

S8? people would risk buying a samsung phone?
obviously testing has been minimum on this phone as they released it with a messed up screen. surely if they cant tell the screen is messed up you cant trust them to know if the battery is safe?
the red screen is a fix for a problem they were having with the screen being too green.

If you value the way you look, the hand you hold your phone in, your ability to sleep without waking up to a house fire and the worst kind of burning below the belt to be STD related, well then samsung may not be manufacturers of the phone you pick.

have you thought of picking up something safer like a very cheap Chinese brand you never heard of that most probable doesn't have a CE mark and has amusingly translated instructions?

"For no power insert into socket until great battery, remove battery until advance."

Paranoid much ?

Paranoid much ?

paranoid? no.
4 million note 7 phones were recalled. its hard to get official figures on sales data.
the note 7 had 100+ (final figures vary between news outlets) actual explosions/fires.
more were reported to be overheating.
eventually reports surfaced of other Samsung models also catching fire but not as many as with the note 7 which kept the media focused on that model as a few scattered events over other models wasn't as exciting for headlines.
Samsung denied other models caught fire and blamed it on the users (reminded me of when apple blamed its poor signal on the iPhone on users holding it wrong)
statistically you were far more likely as a note 7 user to have an exploding phone than as a lottery player winning the jackpot (jackpot chance 1 in 14,000,000 note explosion chance greater than 1 in 40,000).
if you think of the fact that they were recalled then you have to agree the explosion/fire statistics would be higher had they not recalled it.
they said that they would take quality testing further in future, then they released the s8 and they obviously haven't taken it that seriously as the screen is red.... what does that tell you about their commitment to quality control?

if they had been a mobile manufacturer they would have kicked the bucket with the losses on a flagship like that but they got propped up that financial year by their memory business if I recall correctly.

so I would characterise myself as sceptical based on past and present behaviour, unwilling to trust the untrustworthy. paranoid is a belief, the oxford dictionary defines it as 'Unreasonably or obsessively anxious, suspicious, or mistrustful.'

But i didn't buy a Note 7. Stop with the paranoia. Anything with a lithium battery can catch fire.

Mine also doesn't have a red screen.

Up until friday i owned a Note 3 for over 3 years, it didnt get hot, it didn't explode, in fact it hardly even got warm.

Paranoia breeds paranoia. Get over it and stop with all the scaremongering just so people buy a nasty cheap phone instead..

I have to agree, there is a difference between value and price. Too many people don't understand this difference.
Had one of these bad boys in my hand yesterday. Stupid placement of the fingerprint scanner but deffo the best looking phone I've ever held. Google and Apple have a lot of catching up to do here.

People really need to learn how to write a coherent sentence and one that makes sense.
This really isn't a bad deal. If you were paying £20 per month for a sim only contract over the course of 24 months, this would work out cheaper, plus you get the upgrade option 12 months in.

I'm sorry, when I said buy a cheap nasty Chinese non ce phone with funny translated instructions I thought it was obviously a joke especially when I added a chinglish sentence as an example, I obviously didn't factor in your lack of sense of humor and/or limited intelligence (no I didn't call you dumb, I gave you the opportunity to select your own issue).

my point of note 7 and the current s8 screen issues was to demonstrate their quality control is poor and their history of quality control is also poor.

after the note 7 they said they would step up quality testing... the high number of reports of rose screen for the s8 (which is what you say you have bought) makes me question their testing, how did they release a phone with such a problem when they now claim they test more carefully?

anything with a lithium battery can explode, you are quite right, however most phones don't with as high a frequency as the note 7 (which I know is not this one).

I'm sorry but if you don't see that as a warning sign because the screen should be the most simple thing to see if its working correctly... because you only need eyes to see its red is too high!

Now its nothing about money, I'm not trying to brag but buying one outright without contract wouldn't make a dent in my account. I'm not rich but I just like to have enough money available to weather any storm so I save.

"the old saying goes here fool me once* shame on you, fool me twice* shame on me.
*once meaning exploding battery.
**twice meaning a rose screen.

personally I wouldn't discount at some point in the future getting this phone or some other Samsung phone, once I can see a quality phone with no issues, but I would never pre order or be an early adopter of something from a questionable manufacturer, I'd wait 6 months.

btw if anything you seem to be paranoid that everyone is out buying cheap nasty phones.

you also seem to think the phone is good because of its price and that you must be great to be able to afford one, which smells a lot like little man syndrome to be honest.

Far from little thanks.
I've just ordered this, I think it's a great deal for a S8 Plus, so HOT from me!

Basically you are paying this...

Phone £779 / 24 Months = £32.45
Line Rental £324.96 / 24 Months = £13.54

So £13.54 per month for 15Gb data, Unlimited Calls, Texts etc, is a cracking deal and it's a EE Max Plan.

Are you selling one? as I'd really like to get one from a Troll that would suit me fine, if you can make sure the IMEI is blocked and the phone is liquid damaged even though it's IP68 rated that would be marvelous. Are you a detective? You should be, phone up the CIA they gave up on the Stargate project in the 1970s but you sound like you could earn yourself a nice bit of moolah.

CIA: Is he lying?
You: Yeah
CIA: Is he lying?
You: No, definitely got the face of an honest bloke
CIA: Would $200K a year and a Ferrari be OK?
You: You're lying aren't you?
CIA: Oh lost yourself a job there isn't it
Is this definitely a max plan cos it's not 100% clear on the website and does it include data in the EU? Looks like a cracking deal on the face of it, if it's definitely a max plan I might go for it
