Looks a Gooden
Excellent one for an extra tenner or good as new for 449
Wow good price op.
Who's it refurbished by?

If it's by Samsung, its good. Otherwise, this seems like a lot of money to pay for a used and locked phone.

I like the S8 family itself. Wish I had the Note 8!

From those descriptions I fail to see what is 'refurbished' at all....
How the hell can they be refurbished the have not been out long enough to go wrong.

What are you talking about. A phone can go wrong as soon as someone puts it on.
We ordered a iPhone 6s for the daughter that was listed as good condition from Envirofone last week, it is pretty much pristine. I can barely make out a very slight rub mark on the rear when holding it at a particular angle to the light and that's it. The battery test showed as 100% health and it is also still in warranty too.

They don't have to have been faulty to be refurburbished, customer returns for change of mind etc, just cant sell as new

Tech nowadays doesn’t get refurbished by most companies when you send a dead device in. They strip them down and recycle what they can and bin the rest. Apple does this, as does Microsoft with their Surface line. I’d assume Samsung etc. Is the same.

Warranty replacements (unless new) and refurbs you can buy will be devices that had software issues and were easily sorted out or were returned by the customer for whatever other reason.
Bought a Samsung S6 a few months ago that was "Pristine" . Was really happy with the condition as not a mark on it and at first it seemed to work fine but after 6 weeks (not used or ever taken out of the house as was a bought for a spare for emergencies) it has stopped working. The phone won't charge properly and won't switch on unless connected to a charger and is in some kind of constant boot loop - so now I'm left with a phone I can't use. Just to say I don't think these are refurbished - just "used" phones sold on.

Mine was mint but camera did not work. As you say they are just used phones that are sold on and possibly due to a fault
0% through paypal is a great incentive
never pay more than 40% retail for refurbished phones!!! ...ICE cold
Smartfonestore had some Grade B S8s unlocked for £399 a few days ago maybe worth keeping an eye on (currently only have Grade C,)
Don't like my s8, prefer the wife's honor 9 or my old honor 8 (till I broke it).
Screen looks nice but cant stand the bezel, or rather the lack of, around the screen. The volume controls are in the wrong side as it should be your thumb controlling it, the finger print scanner is in a stupid place, far too small and slow to scan. I like how on the honor it's also a button, can double click etc to load apps it's incredibly useful. Bixby is crap, have found an app to make the button useful now though. Battery life is excellent though and the camera is decent.

If I had spent my own cash on this I'd be disappointed. Honestly dont get the love that the press give this, other than the screen and slightly better battery life I don't think it's much/any better than my old honor 8
I can't believe these are still selling at this price.
I bought my S8+ for £450 (shpock) about 6 months ago with a genuine Samsung sview cover.
Mint condition.
I would have thought these might have dropped price a bit more seeing as there isn't long left for the S9
Banned
Bought one of there ebay, refurbished as new.
Well see when it arrives lol was between this and a pixel 2
I bought s8+ from here but it's going back to many scratches on both screen and back... advertised as good condition but too many for me. I'll just wait now.
Biggest concern I'd have with these is the condition of the battery - My S7 lost around half its capacity over the two years I had it.
Shame about the awful back button, tried the phone and bar that thought it was excellent
