are you talking about Buy it now or Auctions? I'm unable to find a S7 under £200 on ebay and the few that is actually cheaper than the above offer are from sellers that can't be trusted (eg. selling used/refurbished phones as new). Your s9 for £270 idea is also a mystery... It's more like £370.

Most likely talking bubbles. It's most likely refurbished. I doubt he received a factory sealed S8 for under 200. Personally I would never buy refurbished/used products due to hygiene reasons
Good price. Not sure why its getting voted cold

Me either, which is why I jumped on the chance to upgrade!

What if something goes wrong with the phone? Good luck getting a replacement/exchange with a 3rd party seller on an auction site...and that's even if their account is still active!
Bit of an oldie, still rock-solid internals though, design not out of fashion

Warranty worth money too, voted hot

Better than most of today's mid-rangers, great long-term support by Samsung UK

It was buy it now
You have to have patience and keep your eyes on the market. I would normally buy it from private seller and look out for phones which were not used for a long time maybe a month and they were in a case with screen protector on

in your first post you said brand new. now you are talking about "private sellers", "not used for a long time" and "in a case with screen protector"? It's called used and not brand new. You surely understand that used and new are not the same, and the price of a used item will always be lower than a new one? The above phone is for a brand new phone!
