Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus G965FD Dual Sim 4G 128GB - £739.99 @ eGlobal Central

Cheapest I've seen for this Carphone warehouse has it at £844 and I think direct from samsung it's £869. Not really an upgrade from the S8 Plus but if your in the market for one. Used Eglobal Central for my past 3 phones with no issues, I wouldn't use the insured delivery option reading the small print it's a bit of a con.

Has anybody checked the reviews of this company......
Why isn’t eGlobal banned from HUKD yet?
Some posters , sadly , do not check the reviews on the company - or indeed where they are located . Top tip ! If it looks cheap -there is a reason . Chinese seller ,very poor reviews , import duties ,no warranty , no feasible way of returning - to name but a few reasons that you should not just "google" cheapest price for an item
yep eglobal has a bad rep, you don't want to blow £700+ with them, id rather pay £869 to Samsung if that was the only other option.
Beware, the phones come with no warranty as they are imported from India or Hong Kong.
You’d have to be 😜 to buy this!
Bought from eGlobal before and didn't have problem but that was in the knowledge that I effectively had no warranty. No way would I be dropping £740 on a phone from there.
Must be about time that the incentivised HUKD members come on this thread to tell members how they have bought 500 items from EGlobal , Gearbest ,Rosegal . Geekbuyer etc and never had a problem or paid import duties . Sell your honesty for "how much " ? 25p ,50p ?

Never received anything from gearbest except decent service, wish I could say the same of some UK companies. I don't even leave reviews for the points, I've had over 100 orders (at least) always choose slowest, cheapest postage and never been charged. I've never known anybody get charged customs with them except the people who make an account on hukd the day they complain (never to post again) I wouldn't be spending this amount though.

Mm - slowest cheapest postage Heard that advice to avoid customs duty/VAT - trouble is item not tracked so when it doesn't arrive after 2 months Gearbest ,Eglobal etc offer you 50% refund nice of them - Not !!

Can only speak for a phone not arriving from gearbest in 2016, their rep Alice sorted it no problem. I would assume if you pay by PayPal you can claim everything back exactly the same way you do with eBay.
Is this the snapdragon varient? because if it is, id actually say its worth it.

Import fees covered by merchant to provide the "price delivered to door" as stated on EGC webpage. Pay merchant directly by UK credit card to benefit from UK-based and UK-enforceable replicated merchant obligations provided by UK credit card company via S75. Effectively S75 = once you have paid this (or any other) merchant, you need not ever contact the merchant again. That dismisses most of the usual objections to EGC and similar non-UK merchants.

Thank god someone in here actually knows what they are talking about. It's a good price I've ordered Note 8, S8 plus and Mate 10 Pro in the last few months all arrived within 10 days, tracked and I never paid postage. The usual scare mongers coming out the woodwork.

2 comments above yours I said you’d Need to be mad to spend this much from Eglobal. In your comment you mentioned gearbest and I would and have spent this much money there. There costumer service is second to none. You get a reply instantly and they just send another one if it doesn’t arrive or doesn’t work.

No, Exynos. This is an Asian model. Only the US variants have SnapDragon.

I am heading to the US next week, so wonder if one of those variants would work 100% here.

Well..Because HUKD earn good money from them when you click Chinese deals thru this site/app. ..like rest of the companies..nobody cares about costumers..only about money!

I would be needing VOLTE and Internet calling with 3 in the UK using these handsets - it's stuff like this I wonder about more than anything.

What are you emulating? Console games?
