It really gets to me when ppl talk about Samsung warranty as if it is any …It really gets to me when ppl talk about Samsung warranty as if it is any good ...I have dealt with them their warranty service is terrible only apples warranty service warrants praise ...Samsung warranty ain’t worth nothing..get contents insurance and be done these phones are built to last long anyway unless you drop it ...and there goes Samsung’s supposedly good warranty it does not cover accident s

"only apples warranty service warrants praise" >>> Google?!?!?

"...Samsung warranty ain’t worth nothing.." >>> double negative.....

"get contents insurance and be done" >>> Why should those of us careful with phones have to claim on contents insurance for a failed motherboard / screen / battery or other manufacturing fault? In fact would contents insurance even cover such a thing. I think not.

"these phones are built to last long anyway" >>> right, so no phone has ever failed from a manufacturing fault??!?

"...and there goes Samsung’s supposedly good warranty it does not cover accident" >>> no one is talking about accidents. Some of us are careful with phones and use cases and screen protectors. We're talking about manufacturing faults!

Warranty aside, has anyone ordered from these? Everything ok?

I ordered my note 8 from here.took 2weeks but all is good. I've had issues with my note 1 and 4 in the past and Samsung's warranty meant nothing. So the yeah you'll not have a 2 year warranty but just get insurance and you'll be fine.
I got a brand new sealed phone perfect working order, I'm more than happy with it. Only annoying thing for me was waiting 2 weeks but that's just because I'm impatient lol. I'd recommend going for it if you really want the phone

There are deals on eBay for similar price, I've seen 3 brand new shipped from France for £597, £598 and £600 which will work out even cheaper if you use Italian eBay 10% off code. Still too expensive for me, I'm waiting for OnePlus 6 to see if it's any good

Strange, as the only time I've used Samsung warranty was when the motherboard on my second hand Note 4 packed in, and I was well impressed. Took it to them and showed the receipt I was given by the previous owner. They said "fine, it should be ready in 3 days time". And it was! Worked fine for another year then I sold it on. So yes, I can't fault them...

Had a problem with my S7E & samsung fixed it & had it back 2 me in 5 days..
Wow... sounds good deal. Actually I am looking to buy one but not sure if this website is reliable. Any more positive comments about website might tempt me to buy.
The only way Samsung UK will intervene is if the phone is re-called I had to be transferred to Samsung's head offices when I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 as EGlobalCentral wasn't willing to refund it.

These will 100% be imported devices it's up to you if you buy them but sure it comes as risks but genearlly speaking it won't be much different other than the fact some international models have the SD 845 instead of the Exynos... You won't notice much of a issue but the Exynos chip is definately better but the dual sim option and cheaper price... Sure it's worth it but it's a risk you'll have to take.
Yep..Samsung arranged collection of my phone after visiting the shop and diagnosing the motherboard as faulty. All good except UPS stole my phone and didn't log the collection. I had all the he proof etc yet they took 11.5 months to sort out a replacement phone and that was afyer taking matters to court myself. They never phoned back..ignored emails etc. I spent over 20 hours on various phone calls..spammed all their social media and went nack to the Samsung shop where the manager tried to help me by calling them himself and STILL theu told me ot was my problem. UPS wouldn't deal with me as I wasn't the client that arranged collection and Samsung didn't contact them once during almost a year of fighting then had the nerve to tell me I wouldn't get a replacement as it happened too long ago.... I have never had issues like I've had with Samsung. When this phone dies I won't be buying one again

The only difference people are likely to notice between the SD and Exynos models are the horrendous battery drain issues with the Exynos SOC, which the Sd variant is free from.

I'd go for the SD model without a doubt.
I got an S9 plus from these guys and was apprehensive about the order having read plenty horror stories. Got it yesterday and it took about 2 weeks, delivery was by DPD. Don't know about warranty but I guess since you are getting a new product, it should work well. I may pass it on as EE is frustrating the dual SIM experience and dats why I went for it.

They say they ship from France or Ireland but be warned. Look at the seller and you'll see they're Chinese!

Samsung Warranty are horrendous. Their whole claims platform is non existent and their CS usually replies something completely irrelevant to the problem I have

My experience:

- First problem with Note 1 was resolved perfectly.
- Note 2 issue with static headphone jack, was never resolved...Kept on replying with an irrelevant fact
- Note 3 issue with charging port, no replies.
- Note 8.0 Tablet issue with screen flickering, no replies.

And now I'm on my latest Note 8. Any problems I'll go through my mobile phone insurance instead.

Used them before, said delivery from France but in fact they have warehouses in Dublin and Manchester which they ship from, can track it via DPD quick delivery too 5 working days.

Impressive you still buy Samsung stuff. I mean I've hardly had any problems so would recommend Samsung and in fact their customer service, when I've had to use them they've been fine with response times.

Maybe it’s not any good but that doesn’t mean a company couldn’t be more flexible in its policies in regards to warranties? Surely not every single good that comes into Samsung warranty is botched leading to unhappy customers.

Is it really unreasonable to expect a company to actually service their products properly and to a high standard if they’re asking top dollar?

Wow. That’s actually incredible. I’m not doubting your experience but just reading that was painful. I’d have fully lost my rag just with half that. I haven’t bought a Samsung for a couple years now and I was actually impressed with the S8 and thought about giving them a go when I next have to get a phone but I’ve read enough on hot UK deals to put me off.

I thought the exynos was the one with the now somewhat publicised battery drain issue? Unless they’ve fixed it?

Have you ever had a phone warranty that covers accidental damage?
Just contacted my bank who I get mobile phone insurance from. RBS. They use Aviva, and I have had it confirmed that they will cover a mobile phone purchased outside the EU, if you go this route you might want to check and get it in writing yourself before ordering.

So I guess I'll be ordering from outside the EU!

they cover any phone as long as it has a IMEI nos so they can blacklist it if needed ...thats what they did in my case anyway

There is no phone manufacturers whose warranty covers for accidental damage! You talking about apple care that cost additional 149£ and has nothing to do with phones warranty
Pay on credit card, quote section 75 claim, as your bank is jointly liable they to abide by UK law; i.e

Phone has stopped working,
It's been less than 6 months so I'm not the one who has to prove the phone is faulty or not (it's retailer's responsibility)
I have requested a refund and informed retailer the goods are 'ready for collection' so it's up to them to arrange and pay for pick up.
I will dispose of the goods if they are not collected within 14 days.
Money refunded.

You do not need to go through home insurance, this is what credit cards are for.

They just discover that devices with SD 845 has GPU driver issues and can freeze or crash your phone completely, has been confirmed on xda developers and also samsung confirmed this, there will be update in near future that might solve the issue!
Maybe for now stick with exynos soc instead!

Cracked my s8 screen yesterday (top right corner) I just hate having damaged or marked mobiles.... Quite strangely particular about that.
Looked at replacing the screen and it's around 200 to 250!
So it makes more sense to sell my damaged one and buy this, then to warrant on a new screen that may not be needed for others.
Shame as I was holding out for the iPhone XS (if a giant leap) or probably the s10
Sadly it will be another year on top until we get the flip split screens.

Holy hell. So basically all the models of the S9 and S9+ have problems and now people are relying on pot luck if their models get the reported issues. Cheers Samsung. Might as well merge with Apple because they’ve dropped the ball on new releases as well.

I’m genuinely curious if companies actually test their latest and greatest products before they lob them out the door at us consumers?

Think it’s common to be particular about your stuff if your paying so much for them. I’m the same although I like to be able to use them case free as well!

That’s insane for replacement costs. I knew amoled screens cost a big but that’s excessive?

I doubt the S10 will be all that. They hyped up the S9 when it was basically a camera upgrade and more for the S7 crowd that hadn’t updated. I reckon under display fingerprints will come in as they’re already out on some Chinese phones and that’ll be the upgrade. Then comes the flip or split screen concepts. Just to long it out and make the most money.

Why should a warranty cover accidents? Insurance covers accidents. Same as if you buy a car from a dealer and crash it in to a tree outside the dealership, you don't walk back in and say oops hit a tree get it fixed under the warranty, well you might but they will just laugh at you I would guess.

Yes that's very true, I was a bit disappointed with the s9 if I am honest.

Years to come when they nail the flip screen, it will be perfect. Big screen you can fit into your pocket.

I second that. Samsung warranty is a pile of cr@p. I got the s8+ the 2nd day of release a few days later charger failed. I was then asked for proof of purchase to validate the warranty. Few months later phone was faulty was asked to send it in for repair and turnaround time is 2 weeks which is crazy ! Apple warranty is by far the best either a fix in the shop or a replacement which is what you want in this day an age a quick turnaround
