How does this phone compare against the HTC ONE X?

How does this phone compare against the HTC ONE X?

Overall, better. But I think the One X is fully 4g compatible and this is only partially compatible.

Cold,as others sells for £370 or less and the price will fall sharply after 4G model release.

The One X is NOT 4G, nor is the S3. The S3 LTE due out shortly will be, and the HTC One XL will be HTC's 4G alternative.

The Nokia 920 and 820 will be 4G compatible if you're after a Windows phone.

I'd wait and see how much the S3 LTE is going to be before diving in to this deal.

Why don't you share your so called deal of under £370 for a like to like item.

A UK retail brand new unit of S3 from a reputed UK retailer(e-retailer). Okay, won't mind if retailer is not as reputed as Amazon :-)

Orange have informed me the One X is 4G compatible and I have read on various sources that the current S3 will be able to run on a 4g network, but not as strong as the S3 LTE which will arrive when EE goes live. Though I'm really not sure on any of that for sure.

With pleasure Here you go My friend ordered from them and more than happy with service.
By the way, I am after best price, and it doesn't matter if retailer is from UK or not,as long as it is reliable.

Hot from me, better then paying £600 for a iPhone 5 and then I will use a Giff Gaff £10 Sim deal.

And I don't touch Android

That link looks very likely a re branded simply electronics so take care before parting with any money.

I think it would make more sense to buy it from amazon direct as it's only a fiver more. And if anything does go wrong, you only have amazon to deal with.

thats mean. for those few it will work on.

You can get it for £374.95 (see below). You can get the 32GB version for less than this at £409.95

http://www.****/mainproduct.php?pid=19352 - Blue - 16GB

http://www.****/mainproduct.php?pid=20668 - Blue - 32GB

I don't like the phone personally, but this is a cold deal. Do some research before claiming it's the cheapest SIM FREE deal around.

What website? Links have been edited

I ordered the 32GB Pebble Blue version from a 'Trusted Seller' on ebay the other day for £426. Hong Kong seller I think with a UK warehouse. Either way HotUKDeals wouldn't like the seller. The seller is now selling them for £486.

HOT as cheaper and better than the new iPhone as with a battery you can change and latest AMOLED screen.

The equivelant (16GB) iPhone 5 is £529

Anyway voted hot, although I think it may drop a bit when the 4G version is released.

Even in the unofficial roms that everyone loves to flash because Android handset manufacturers can't just get their **** in gear and release regular updates themselves?

Or is it only an issue in official roms?

on that note, is it fixed on SGS2?

I've called the Orange "Technical Team" in the past and they're more useless than a chocolate teapot so I wouldn't trust them in the slightest. I'd like to see where the UK/European Versions of the One X and S3 have 4G ability, as I can't find any. US Versions yes, european No

OK,isn't This HUKD deal better? Comes as £86 for 24 months contract. If I needed S3-this would be my choice,as you won't find line rental for £3.58 a month . Plus decent data/minutes allowance.

Third party seller holding stock at Amazon.

The seller is not Amazon !

DigitalRev have no affiliation to the woefull Simply Electronics.

I ordered a S3 from them and it was in my hands less than 72 Hours later. The service impressed a colleague so much that he has used them this week and his phone is currently on its way. I'd personally recommend them above the majority of Amazon Marketplace sellers.

Good price, tempted.. but might wait till the 4G model is out, price should drop a bit more then

Cold - not a bananna!

But yeah, I think I'd rather pay a little extra and order from Amazon, just for the peace of mind.

That's nice, I thought this was a Samsung thread? But yeah, I'll see yours and match.
