Sorry I didn't know that..

I can see that Tesco are curently offering 2,000 extra clubcard points on the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1", in addition to the 298 points, but can't see how you managed to get 4,298, or how you have got the price down to £206. Surely after £50 cashback it should be £248???

I think is for selected sellers only. Get free delivery from Crocus, Fred Aldous, Maplin, Nomans Musical Instruments, Purely Gadgets, The Nutri Centre, Thompson & Morgan, Trove and Wayfair + exclusive 5% cashback.

Does any one know if these are any good for Skype ?

I ordered last night & can confirm 4298 points.

the site is down now!!

Was going to purchase last night - when my laptop crashed so left till this morning, and website been down since i started trying at 8:00 !!

Yes, u will get total 4298 clubcard points at checkout

Just ordered. Definitely shows 4298 points at checkout, though I think it might be a glitch, as the two codes basically sound like the same thing. Something like:

2000 Clubcard points when you buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1"
2000 Clubcard points when you buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" - free delivery

I think they messed something up when renaming the promotional code. Still, awesome deal and just the excuse I was waiting for to buy this tablet

If you haven't got anything to say - please don't say it, cash back and clubcard points
can't be put in the total because not everyone uses them or can claim the cashback
you may want to go read up on those details(if you can read that is). (_;)

Has anyone actually seen the 4000 extra points on their account?

Not yet - my order's not been dispatched yet (collect from store tomorrow), so I don't see either 2000 or 4000 on my account.

However when I view my order status on Tesco Direct, it still displays 4288pts.

ok thanks, let us know when u know pls

ordered, if i dont get my points least I can cancel

Placed order however "Order status: Partially Confirmed" can see this one being cancelled

I just got "Your order has been confirmed" on the website followed by an email about "Your Tesco.com order confirmation" so it seems confirmed. Both reference the 4298 points.

Mine has now been to dispatched to store, and still shows the full 4000+ points.

Tidy, fingers crossed then

mine is dispatched and I should collect it today.. any suggestion re a good case?

i think im going to cancel anyway, the uk version has no ir blaster. my ipad2 is probably still better than this, cant think of a reason to ditch my ipad2

The official Samsung one is ludicrously expensive, and not available in white as far as I can tell?

I've gone for this one which is white, reasonably-priced and has good reviews.

I'm a Tesco n00b. So could someone please explain...

If I order this, I theoretically go into store tomorrow to collect it at £299, however because I semi ordered it today (tomorrow's yesterday) I will somehow have over 4000 points to use, which can then be transferred into this magical voucher to get the price down to £206 after samsung cashback and quidco?

Have I got the jist?

ADDYA

its £298 how did you get it to £206 ?????

I think deducting the £50 cashback from Samsung and the 4298 points (£42)

Hardly a "new" product... (from the Tesco direct website)

Cold - not a nexus

Can tesco club card points be exchanged against cash?

hmm tegra 2 and a dual core 1ghz cpu.

It may be made by samsung, I dunno, that just sounds like old technology to me to pay £300 for. Granted the discounts are there so it's definitely a hot deal.

Not everything is included in clubcard exchange. Besides the exchange for this year already finished. Those who already exchanged rewards have time till 11th to use the vouchers....

I was pretty tempted by this offer but when I look at the specs and the online review, it's just cold for me, samsung galaxy tab 2 is almost the same as the tab 1, dual core processor is pretty last year trend, screen is not top notch with only 149ppi and pity they don't use their OLED screen which was on galaxy 7.7, plastic body with pretty low end camera.
I totally understand why they give £50 cash back, or no one is going to buy it for £298, especially you can easily pick up ipad 3 for under £350 and other android dual core tablets for under £200 online.
I think it's a ok deal with 4298 tesco points if you shop with tesco a lot and want a ok 10.1 inch screen tablet. By saying that, galaxy note 10.1 is using the same screen with £399 price tag, and a quad core processor which you can get Nexus 7 for £199 with 7 inch 216ppi screen, for a 10.1 screen with £200 price different, just not worth it, also direct compete with Apple ipad 3 with incredible screen.
Anyway, I just like NEW gadgets, not old specs in new body and name only to avoid patent issues, I want something NEW, come on Samsung, you can do better than that.

PS. I am still gutted that I didn't get the Xoom 32gb for £134, and that was an amazing deal.

Superb spot! I also had a £15 voucher to use. Couple this with the £50 back from samsung and the x3 value of the points at American golf discount and it is a cracker of a deal for me. £233 - £126 voucher and it makes it just over £100. thanks op heat added.
